COMPLETED TEAMS

ALL teams have now been completed! With the help from a lot of you, and especially Xterra23, Tyused, and jcartman, this project has been a blast to work on and overall has gone by a lot quicker than I thought.

I am zipping each division with their teams, and re-upping them to the site. Expect everything up within the next 10-15 minutes to this following link:

I hope to work on some new packs in the future (some ideas have already been discussed) with some of you guys.

HERE IS HOW TO GET SONGS FROM YOUR COMPUTER, TO YOUR 360, ONTO THE GAME AND USE THEM AS BATTER/STADIUM THEMES:

1) Rip the mp3 songs from your computer onto a CD.
2) Place CD in Xbox 360 and rip songs onto your hard drive
3) Go into Music on your Xbox & setup the title of the songs so they are identified.
4) Create a playlist on your Xbox 360 that has just 1 song in it. You can only assign playlists for a player, so every song in the playlist will be randomly selected if there is more than one. For example, I have a playlist called, "Pronk". In that playlist, I only have the song "Du Hast" for his at-bat music, which will be played each time he's up. Do this for each player on the roster.
5) Go into your 2k8 menu and go to "Extras" and select "Player Beats". You will see all the playlists listed from your Xbox. For each player, select the playlist that has his song in it.
6) You must save the entire roster when finished.

Hey guys,

This is going to be my first time attempting something like this.

In the past, I have worked on sliders and rosters independently, but have never divulged onto the forums with them because I have either failed to finish them, or felt they weren't up to par with others that were out.

This will be something new for me.

As a person with a massive taste in and collection of music, I have looked over some of the players and their entrance themes and I likely have a good amount of the music already on CD or my hard drive.

Here is what I intend on doing.

I am going to take a program and save each file to a short 10-15 second clip. I will have it fade out near the end.

I am going to release these in team-packs, with a list of each player and the corresponding song in a word document. If certain teams only have a small amount of players with theme music, I will release double packs. If a player has multiple theme songs, I intend on picking only one instead of both likely to conserve time and space. Homerun and team songs will also be included, as long as I know of them or they are listed in this thread

I will zip them and upload then.

I'm going to need you guys to help hook me up with the best free hosting site though, because I've always used rapidshare and I know that's not that great if you don't have an account (besides, I think mine has expired anyway).

Also, I know there are other threads, but if you would like to list ANYONE you know about your team who you would like included in the team pack, do it in one post. Otherwise, I am going to be going off of the other threads, common know-how, and this site:

I look forward to getting these out as quickly as possible, and hope that with some custom soundtracks, good rosters, good sliders, and in time the patch, this game will be what everyone had hoped for.

Or you could just use ring tones. That's what I personally did.

Honestly, I don't even have a cell phone that uses ring tones... nor would I know where to get them. The method I'm using to make these takes me about 20 seconds per clip, so it's not really an inconvience for me to do.

And I don't know if you can find the Wolfpac theme in a ringtone.:wink:

If there isn't a high demand though, I will do only the ones I feel neccesary for my own franchise and release them in one small pack or something... but from reading on the boards, it seemed this was something that some people might like...

Nonetheless... here is another small example of some I've done so far... about 10 songs from a couple different guys on different teams in here:

The main thing I would like from some of you guys on the board, is team-by-team lists with players you guys would like included in this and their respective song(s).

I have about 20-30 songs done so far, but they are just random players for random teams. However, I am sorting it all as I go along, but I'm not doing anything in any order as of right now so it's going a little bit slow.

If everything was sorted, it would make things much easier addmitedly.

If anyone wants to help, there is one thing that would make things much faster. I am going to do this eventually, but if someone beats me to it or wants to volunteer, all the better.......

It would be much easier if that list above was in a team-by-team order, and someone went through and corrected who is on what team. For one, the list is in alphabetical and not team order for, which isn't convienent really. And another example, it says Rob Mackowiak is on the Padres... he is on the Nationals in real life. That goes for a lot of players on that list since it is outdated in terms of their current teams. And when I am doing these themes, a lot of the time I have to look up what team the players are currently on, and it just takes more time. Not to mention, I'm sure that list is inconclusive and some of you could add some names (or already have in one of the other 5 or 6 threads similar to this).

If I had an updated list of every team and their respective players with music in front of me, I could speed through this in literally a day to two. I'm not really asking you guys to do this portion for me, but if anyone wants to help, that is something that I'm in need of.

Good job man, and thanks for doing the Cards. However, I noticed that Pujols, Duncan, Ludwick, and Encarnacion all have only 4 second tracks. Is this on purpose? Just wondering. And Keep em commin. Haha.
