PLayed another game and signed out of my profile. The frame rate problem is completely fixed. GAme was smooth as butter. So i guess if the framerate problems scare you, they dont exist if you sign out of your profile and back in after the game and save.

Another good game. I can see myself enjoying this game and I'm glad I got it. It's not a huge difference from 2k7 but its better. They seem to have fixed a lot of the glaring flaws with 2k7. I do with they'd overhaul certain things and make it even more intuitive and fun to play. It is kind of hohum and more of the same, but solid. I tend to think the 2k8 games from 2k are more like 2k7.5. 2k7 was much more of a step up and I was expecting 2k8 was going to be a lot better. Hopefully this is the end of their life cycle and they can overhaul this engine soon.

I got it notque. Played 1 game.

Me too, played 2 games.

-The frame rate issues are a little annoying. It's not that big a deal to me. IT's noticeable, but the game is definately playable, and the patch is supposed to fix this.

I don't even know what people are talking about. I've read all about the framerate issues, and I am not experiencing them logged into my profile.

Are people talking about the cut scenes jumping a bit? If so, I don't care. It doesn't affect gameplay at all. I'm shocked how little it matters if this is it.

I thought it was unplayable the way people complained.

-It didn't take me long to figure out the new controls. Played 1 game on pro kc vs baltimore all the way through 9 innings.. I won 2-1. Meche pitched 7.1 innings, 5 k's. Gobble had .2 innings and a hold and 1 k and soria closed it out. I had 5 hits baltimore had 2. I had 1 walk, baltimore had none. Still going to be hard to get realistic pitch counts and walks per usual.

Much better than I did. Lost 9-0 and 8-0. I've gotten a few hits, but no runs yet. last one I played was like, 2k6.

Really awesome how the throwing to the bag when close is intuitive. Will just take me some time to get used to.

-I like the assortment of hits, more foul balls it seems, less hrs, and fielding seems more randomized as well.

For the computer, totally! I need to get an assortment of hits first
