Right now with my edited CPU hitters (I lowered their hitting ratings by about 50%) I have Contact at 100 and Skill at 10-15 (still testing). So far I'm liking what I'm seeing.

My advice would be to pitch a number of innings to a CPU team with Contact at 100 and Skill at 0. Once the CPU side is retired, simply restart the game and repeat until you get an idea of how the CPU is hitting. If you're not seeing enough hits, raise Skill to 5, and repeat.

It's a tough one, because all of it depends on what works for you, and even some other sliders. Your Total Control Pitching slider setting seems to make a difference as far as hit outcome and quality, for example. Or so it appears. I have mine at 50% right now.

Thought i was the only guy who faced this problem. You guys won't believe this:

So I decided to use Colorado vs the red sox. So here what happens. Me(Jeff Francis), is pithing great. i already retired pedroia and ellsbury down. But then comes Big Papi. So I get him in an 0-2 count. So i then pitch him a curveball that is almost in the ground. And guess what happens... Yes he hits a homer. So i got so pissed that I restarted the game. So I retire the first two guys, then i pitch to Big Papi and another homer. I retarted the game about 5 times before I could finally get Big Papi to not hit a homer, and then after that, manny hits a homerun.

I believe it. That scenario has happened to me more time than I'd care to admit.

Haha, you're so right about Delcarmen. In one game I was up 8-0 and then Schilling got injured so i put in Delcarmen. 10 batters later the scores was 8-9. I wanted to send him down to single A after that. He's pitched like 19 innings and there have only been like 2 inners where he didn't give up at least a homer.
