What is your position you hold at 2K sports?
To answer the original poster's question, 2K8 is one of the worst sports games ever released. The Show is phenominal and there's NO reason for someone with a PS3 to buy 2K8 instead. Hell, I sold my 360 to buy a PS3 solely because of how poor 2K8 is.

. 2K8 certainly has it's flaws and was disappointing to me in many ways, but it is far from one of the worst sports games ever. Not even close to one of the worst baseball games ever. It's definitely worth a rental and possibly a purchase. Many people really enjoy this game...particularly on the 360.
