Stealing too easy

for me. Seams the cpu never gets me and i never get them. What slider could make this more realistic?

ALLSTAR level with some minor slider tweaks. I wanted to asjust baserunner speed down but then i would never hit a triple

Pitch speed also plays a big role. I play with pitch speed at 100, and if I happen to try a steal on a pitch where the CPU throws a fastball, I will be out. Gunned down. Outta there. Sitting on pine and feeling unfine.

this might be waaaaaaaaaaaay out there but, did you try adjusting the "basestealing success" slider? I can only steal with guys who can outright fly and have a high ability in that area....still, if the pitcher brings heat I run the risk of getting gunned down.

Take the BaesStealling Success Sliders from default All Star and move it 15 clicks to the left!

I have testes it out in about 100 games with a guy that has 100 attribute in every stat a super fast guy and he gets caught even when I double tap the Y Button.

He has something like a 30 Steals 15 Caught Stealing.

How do you get the CPU to Steal on you?...or even Hit and Run??

I have been 15 games into my season and the cpu hasnt attempted 1 stolen base or hit and run yet! I adjusted Steal 2nd, and Aggressive Running for the AI almost to the max and still nothing...any ideas?

You can't and hopefully this is a fix in the patch.

Got word yesterday from 2K that the patch is extensive by they wouldn't give details.

Unfortunately this isn't a problem exclusive to 2K. Stealing has been somewhat easy in many recent baseball titles. I imagine it's something that is hard for developers to tweak just right.

Known issue with the game. At this point people are hoping for a patch to fix it, but it's probably not going to happen.

I have this game on the 360 and haven't touched the sliders and the cpu will attempt steals on a regular basis.
