Probably of little consequence, but I wonder if they are bringing this down to fix whatever issue they've been having or to scan and confirm that it's ready for patch uploads. Hey, we can always hope, right!

I know this is negative speak, but I almost wish/hope that the patch doesn't get released this weekend and these 2K developers if not yet understanding what they have given us for a product, that they will now realize it after a long weekend of incredible lag, stuttering, framerate issues, and all other goodies that those of us have already put up with for the past month or so. Later

P.S. To my knowledge I don't think XBL releases anything on the weekend, so hopefully something gets done today, otherwise it'll be an interesting weekend.

It doesn't appear there is going to be a patch anytime soon at this point. Apparently the COD 4 patch didn't release either, so MS must really be having some issues.

With all the bad PR that is going to come from this, I wonder if 2k might provide additional content (stadiums, uniforms) for free rather than charging for them.

well its a good sign that the call of duty map pack was released today. Maybe MS got live straightened out and the 2k patch could come out soon too. Keep the fingers crossed!

The other side of this is; wouldn't the 2K patch have come out at the same time? This tells me that MS is now fine, but still no patch. That is raising my skepticism that it's a purely MS issue. Add to that Sony, completely independent from MS, has not released theirs either. Hopefully just a coincidence.

I am kind of weary of the patch now. It is quoted at 2k that the patch was on the top of its list for release. If that is true, then the path should either be out now or it is being knocked down a couple of notches.

Dude you completely copied one of my old signatures...The whole Terminix thing was mine but it applied to MLB 2K7, and you just changed it to suit the Show. Wow! You must've really liked it huh?

I'd say it depends if the COD maps were ready for download before 2k's patch.
