I think your missing the point and I really don't want to waste the thread on this, but 0 power doesn't mean everyone and their uncle hits a homer. I haven't heard you say that you are having problems with any other home run issues. If Manny and Pappi are taking you yard welcome to the bigs. That's life. Reality. That's what they do.
If you are complaining about getting realistic results, it sounds as though you're getting them. What is your version? 0 ppower equals all weak dribblers that let me win every game? That's a joke. Power at 0 should mean powert hitters get the knocks. If their rating on power is at 100 (as individual player) no matter what your slider is set to, that guys is gonna hit a homer. Not every time, but in his hot zone, sure, in the wheel house most definetly.
I believe by adjusting that slider it affects the percentage of chance a player has of hitting a homer somehow also factored into their player rating. Therefore, setting at zero takes out the"multiplier" of player rating giving you the true skill of ewach player. Power slider at 100 "multiplies" a player chances of hitting homer by x amount. So you wil see more homers than normal by not only Pappi but Omar Vizquel and David Eckstien.
The sliders are all realitive and relate in formula to a players individual rating. There is no slider in this game, I believe, that will stop homeruns entirely. Because in the game of baseball, people hit homers. And some players are better than others.
That will conclude my addition to this disagreement. There is nothing left to add. If you don't buy into it, than go on your merry way and curse the game, I will continue to enjoy.
Have a great day.
