Oh and one more thing. I think these videos put tho whole "stuttery framerate" issue to bed. It's as smooth as butter, way smoother than the OS videos, and I'm THOROUGHLY impressed.

But at least the transition animations are fairly smooth. It's watchable this year, unlike past versions where I couldn't stand to look at the herky-jerky motions.

Though true, the time has come. That same outfield throwing animaton has been in the game forever. Players looking like there throwing 1 way, but throwing another.

Not to mention for some reason the pitching animations look like they've taken a step back, especially @ release point...

I'm really having a fun time pointing all the "little things" in these videos. In the Red/Dodgers video, when Kemp is coming to the plate the camera shows him close up, user cancels out of that cut scene and switches back to the pitcher cam and Kemp is exactly where he was before, slowly walking to the plate. He didn't magically appear at the plate in full stance. I don't think I have ever seen that in a video game before. This "real time world" really is awesome for little things like this.

The sound of the ball comming off the bat when it was bunted, now that 's how it should sound on a full swing. So now we know they have different sounds for bat and ball contact.

From what I saw not this year. Also, I like the real time effects. It is a demo so maybe some of the issues we see will be fixed, but I doubt it. I like the Stadiums and the bat boy is cool too.

I know VC really focused on the basics & re-doing the presentation, but it's time to over-haul every single animation in this game engine. The animations look bad... Hopefully this will be a big focus for them next year...

Really? I am really loving everything about this game so far! I never really worried about the little things and I honestly can't tell or would never have known about the ball leaving the pitchers had "awkwardly", if you will, without someone mentioning it. This is a huge leap in baseball for 2k. Hopefully I will enjoy playing it as much as watching these vids. ok back to work!

CC still wearing a Indians hat no pic for Blake DeWitt. Theese are little things that should easily be taken care of with no problem, but are the little things that will keep me from buying the game.

At least the vid of Santana looked really good. Like I said I love the real time effects, not crazy about the batting animation, but it looks like it runs smooth.

Nice vids. It's looking good, better than 2k8 but what game wasn't better than that dissapointment?
