The chest bump when papi gets home was cool. Didn't like that he was able to pull an outside pitch almost 4oo ft for a HR

      Thanks for the link Jeffy

-lol...well, Ortiz is as powerful as ever. He pulled a ball a few inches of the low outside zone of the plate. Hopefully with the tuning of this the developers spoke of today, it won't be too prevalent in the final copy. It's not impossible, but given the frequency of it in past games, it's something I'm watching for.

-Still don't understand why the ball still "floats" to the plate...always bugged me.

-This is now the second video that I've seen the AI actually some pitches, including strikes. Good news.

-I continue to be impressed by the camera angles and commentary.

haha yeah that caught me off guard too, although it isn't like I've never seen Ortiz pull that ball for a HR before, lets just hope Pedroia can't do it too.

yes, the ball floating to the plate has been my pet peeve with the 2K baseball series....I don't know why they can't get that fixed, along with organ music and bat sounds...these sound like easy fixes to me...I think it's a matter of effort...

and ortiz pulling an outside pitch off of Sabathia would never happen either, especially on a 1-2 count...

If that type of HR only happens to the strongest of hitters then I really don't have an issue with it at all. The "slowness" of the pitches as they make it to the plate when looking at it from the pitcher camera reminds me of the same exact look MVP had when looking from that camera view.

The off-speed pitches had very exaggerated breaks and speeds when looking at it from the pitcher perspective and this game doesn't appear to be any different. Maybe a sign that the developers transplanted the hitting/ball physics from MVP into this game?

NBA2K is the standard of sports games period.

Doubtful. They said the gameplay engine was the same, just tweaked/optimized.

Plus, the ball floating thing has been going on for a few in the 2K game...it's not new.

Also, I don't recall it floating like that in MVP, but even if it did, there are some things best left in "last gen" regardless of how much weight people give a game...lol

colors are washed out, no pop or vibrancy and big papi looks like kamala the ugandan giant in the face or rick ross the rapper take your pick.

People keep saying the colors look washed-out, yet on my monitor they look great. Very vibrant, especially in the 3 IGN Videos
