Re: Demo Next Week
Because last year when the forum admin at 2ksports said the demo would be out tonight then I posted on here saying there would be no demo and it turned out that I was right and everyone else was wrong and I ended up receiving an infraction because I was right and everyone else was wrong.Comment

Like I said, I understand. I guess I didn't know how it all went down last year, as I didn't pay to much attention to the game. Like I said though, that was Kush. This is VC. I think that should say enough.Because last year when the forum admin at 2ksports said the demo would be out tonight then I posted on here saying there would be no demo and it turned out that I was right and everyone else was wrong and I ended up receiving an infraction because I was right and everyone else was wrong.Comment

Re: Demo Next Week
Yeah 2k3 was the 2nd best baseball game ever made which was developed by blue shift, but then kush took over with 2k5, and 2k5 was the worst baseball game ever made because the CPU couldn't hit all my pitchers had an era below 2, kush ruined the series they had horrible programmers.Comment

Re: Demo Next Week
I was banned there six months for no reason.
No, literally. The listed reason was "None." I still recall my last post being about the first NBA 2K6 360 trailer and I was just saying that the arena lighting being a bit dark. Next morning, I got the boot. He didn't like me very much though, either. Not sure what made him pull the trigger.
As for the demo, I can't say that I'm as excited as I was this past week to get my hands on this, but I know I'll be itching on Thursday when I'm downloading it. I just hope that this demo is a good indication of what the game really will be instead of us being able to look past any negative, just hoping that it will be addressed for the retail version. I know by the 3rd I'll be calling every Blockbuster in town to make sure I give this game a solid 10 days of play before making any potential purchasing decisions, including PC. But the demo will be a good start.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Demo Next Week
Re: Demo Next Week
After the past two year's demo debacles, I have adopted the following formula concerning a baseball game from 2K.
A delayed (post release demo) = Yet another stink bomb in hiding. Most likely being blamed on XBox's approval process as to why the demo hasn't released yet. Said demo will end up magically showing up on XBL marketplace the day of or the day after release. As with 2K8, the final game OTB ends up looking nothing like the videos and pics that we have seen from early builds of the game.
An early (pre release demo) = A solid baseball game with stellar graphics, solid frame rate and a potential competitor with the other game. A fun and lag free online experience. No game killing problems out of the box like the previous two years which requires an urgent patch. Basically, baseball bliss for people who only have a 360 console.
So as others have said in this thread, I'll believe it when I see it!!! I was hugely disappointed with 2K8 and was left feeling like I had been duped into buying something that had been falsely represented prior to release. At the end of the day, $60 down the drain!!
I have to say that with VC at the helm this year I am very hopeful for this game. Maybe they will be able to turn around the negative stigma that hangs over the series and deliver a great game this time around

At what point in the development process is the demo? Earlier or about the same time frame of what we are seeing from Steve?“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: Demo Next Week
I think it is a very good sign a demo is coming out prior to release especially for the PS3Comment
