no, but we have different tv's than you. I play at 1080p on both demos and have no problems. Played The Show last year on 1080p with ZERO lag. My tv's native is 1080p and your tv's native is 720p so there is your issue.

my tv is full 1080p 52 inch sammy model ln650. one of the best sammys out there. but it dont matter what u guys feel. last year this game was nowhere near 60fps on 1080p. and this is me trying on 3 diff 1080p tvs. i also have the top of the line panny 800u and had the same issue. this year the framerate is much better in 1080p but still not as good as 720p

those of u who say is perfect in 1080p are either not playing 1080p or lying to yourself

lag is diff then framerate dip. but to each their own. all i know is what i see and what about 95% of people also felt last year about 1080p. that is why the screen said for optimal exp play on 720p

yeah, your tv DOES NOT SUCK.. its a pretty good set... the only thing i could say that might be causing the dip could be the 120hz refresh rate your tv has.. but i doubt it.. i honestly think games run better on 720p...if you look at the actual resolution most games are made in, its not even close to 1080p.. if games like halo 3, resistance 2, and gears of war 2 cant run in true 1080p, what make you think these games do??? it took multiple years to creat those 3 other games, and just a year to make a new iteration of the show or 2k... its just common sense.. if its not true 1080p when its coded, chances are it wont look as good.. especially the show since the scaling chip in the ps3 doesnt do well with games that are best in 720p and scaling them to 1080p

I have a Samsung LN52A750 which is 1080P. I have my ps3 set to 1080 since that is the native resolution of my t.v. Should I play the Show in 720P even though my set is 1080? I thought it was best to set the ps3 to the resolution of tour t.v.

Rule of thumb is to set it to the native resolution of your TV, most games run in 720p, so if they are 1080p games and your TV is 1080p you should run it in 1080p. I had The Show in 720p last year it played better because it was optimized for 720p, but this year i have it at 1080p (Demo) and it plays great as does the demo for MLB2K9

hehehehe, hahaha, NO! If his tv was native 720p, it most likely would not have the option for 1080p. It's your console that sends the signal to the tv so who cares if ur tv is native at 1080p when the console is 720p? Think about it!

650? that's the one with input lag right? Where you have to rename one of the inputs to PC in order to get rid of the lag?

Play the game on it's native resolution, not the TVs!
