Being able to aim where you hit is a big part of real life baseball. Hitters do it all the time.

... *sigh*... And how do they aim the hits you ask? Well, by waiting on the ball and closing their stance to hit the ball to the opposite field, and opening their stance and swinging early to pull it.

Aiming a hit in "real life" is done with timing.

Guess we didn't get the door locked in time.

I'm probably not anal enough to know whether they got every last detail right. Why don't you post a picture of what they're supposed to look like and I'll tell you if they got it right or not.

What about editing players. Can we edit facial hair and hair do etc.......... on existing players? Or what about the minor leagures? Thanks TJ

Disagree, you still had to swing the right time, I swung late holding the stick to pull the ball in the demo and the ball still went opposite field.

But yes, having a slider for that is always good.

Ok, well maybe my timing was on more often than not due to the slow pitch speed. None the less, the fact that it is impossible to hit the ball on the ground unless you either: a) hold the left stick down, or b) don't use the left stick at all, is a bit alarming to me. All I am saying is that I hope it can be rectified (or at least improved upon) in some way on the user end.

Thanks for quick response and if i could give you a lil nit pick question, could you play at royals stadium and tell me if you can hear the fountains ever and if the gigantic replay board in center actually works?

I don't hear the water...but in my opinion, the water animation sucks. Looks more like blue smoke flowing over the wall and down than actual water, lol. The replay board in center seems to only be used to show the headshots and stats of whomever is at bat.

lol dont worry, i sucked to it took me like 5 demo tries to get the hang of the pitching.

And a question on the homeruns dont know if they were away or home, did they fully celebrate cause in the demo seemed like it was cut, also how is the Crowd on it does the crowd become quite all of a sudden or do the cheer loud for a while?

Can't really remember...I'll watch for that sort of response next time.

Are their historical teams avaialble to play with? '27 Yankees, '34 Cardinals...

Or do they have old timer teams with players from several teams?

Are trading cards needed to unlock the legends?

Could you give button pitching a try and see if it has pinpoint control or if you throw some balls while trying to throw strikes.

You can't edit appearance on existing players. Not sure about minor leaguers. Haven't gone into franchise mode yet.
