Hang in there guys, this isnt the first game to have an issue, and 2k may already know about it.

Chase, a few questions (if you dont mind)

- are the dust clouds still in? (ala Pigpen from Charlie Brown)
- I felt like alot of fly balls got dropped in the demo, seeing any of this in retail?
- Are there an overabundance of homers just by holding up on the "L" stick? I felt like in the demo i could go yard with just about anyone, whenever i wanted
- are you swinging and missing at all?
- Commentary still seem fresh?

Not a big deal for me as I do not sim, I feel it cheapens my stats, but it is a big issue for many.

this is an issue for anyone who plays franchise. Whether you sim or not doesn't change the fact that teams don't have enough money to keep the big stars...

No, it is not, if you only play 1 season like I do, it is a non issue. I do not have time to play anymore then 162 games. It is an issue for those that do, yes, but for me, nope. It will most likely be fixed like 2K7 was quickly.

Well, as I said, I won't make it to the offseason anyway, it's been probably 10 years since I played all 162 games. I can't sim, because I feel stats get out of whack for my team, so I play just about every game. With my limited time, I'll be shocked if I even make it to the All Star Game.

This is a definite issue for some though, so I'm not trying to downplay it, just saying for me personally, it doesn't affect me.

I'm with EG on this. I never finish a season (last one was MVP 2004), so I imagine it won't be a big factor (and I'll just take control of all 30 teams if somehow I do). It does suck for all you Franchise enthusiasts. Hopefully, Simballer will step up and provide some answers.

I totally agree. I usually sim through franchise and play here and there to get a sense of the long term value through the years. However, in lieu of this bug, I may play the whole season for fun, as I am doing my Masters and probably won't have time to play through multiple seasons. I hope they do fix it for those who enjoy the sim aspect. I assume it will get fixed. If it does, maybe I will play more seasons.

Hey CHASEB I really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy afternoon and answering all these questions.

My questions is are you able to change hitting and pitching options online? What im asking I guess is in MLB 2K8 they were all grey out you had to use the NEW PITCHING /BATTING CONTROLS. I am just curious if you can use the MLB 2K7 style online???

Also would like to know if you can use the old throwing to the base controls online?

Well I think that does it for me. This is a major game killer. I'm all about Franchise and if it is this broken, there is no way I will play it. Thanks Chase for your honest review.

1. Can u change the size of the player's jersey ala 2K8 and 2K7 which the options were Tight / Normal / Loose ?

2. Also can u change the size of the pants and pants length ala 2K8 and 2K7? I am really interested in "Baggy" / "Super Baggy" and the "Extra Long" options for the pants the most.

The options in 2K7 and 2K8 were: Tight/ Normal / Baggy / Super Baggy
The options for pant length were: Tucked / Normal / Long / Extra Long.

3. Lastly, there was an option for the "undershirt sleeves hot/cold" that I noticed in Steve_OS's screenshots. The option that I am looking for that was in 2K7 and 2K8 is "3/4's Above The Elbow." It basically is the sleeves that are cut at the elbow and not the 3/4 sleeves.

2 - Yep...the options are Baggy, High, Low, High Stirrup, and Low Stirrup.

3 - The sleeve length options are Normal, 3/4th, None, and Short. Short is cut off just above the elbow but not at it.
