No, no...I didn't mean to imply you were for the lawsuit, I was just speaking to the point.

As for refunds, I ammended that to mean exchange (though if you go through the company itself, not the retailer you can exchange for a different brand product) that was my only point there.

You're right though, I can definitely understand why some would be pissed. I find it funny that most who lament patches here though clearly have internet access to get on here to gripe about it...so why is getting a patch so difficult?

Anyway, I didn't realize this all started after a fix for the franchise issue was announced for release day. I'm very happy about that and it makes the PC version potentially viable again for me

Doesn't anyone else see that as a problem ? Once you give them your money, that's it. They keep it. That's OK with you guys ? I honestly never returned a 2K game. Has anyone ever gotten their money back for one ?

I did not, but I bought 2K6 (360) after being duped by the pics of the game (they never showed videos till AFTER) at Wal-Mart. Obviously they would not return an opened product... so I went to EB Games, and said to them, I just bought this today, it is rubbish, if you give me full credit I will buy a PS2 and The Show 06 right now from you.

They did. But as far as a full return on opened games. That is a thing of the past.

Maybe someone can answer my question...

I am not an XBOX Live user. Never have been. For years dating back to Tecmo Super Bowl on the Nintendo, I've played season modes versus the CPU. Never enjoyed head-to-head competition.

I was wondering if you need a HARD DRIVE to save roster updates and patches? I have the bare-bones basic XBOX 360 with a pair of memory card units. That's all I ever needed.

Can someone kindly "guesstimate" how much space will be required to save the initial roster update and patch?

          Thanks.

You should have no problem at all saving the patch and roster updates on your memory cards.

Well I'll clear both memory cards just to be sure (I only play NHL 09 anyway). Thanks

Not to muddy the waters, but I think you do need the hard drive for patches. Saving rosters, season and franchise files will work fine on a memory card however.

If that's the case, I'll happily give him my old 20gb HDD. I only ask that he covers the cost of shipping.

I travel in my Motor home and I'm not able to download anything.

I wouldn't mind paying shipping on a patch or Classic Stadium disk that I could use in my PS3...

In the same store you bought it, and if it is opened, you can only do even exchange of the same game.

I had to bargain with the other store, but it was easy, considering that it looked like a bigger sale to them in the end. And the game being less than 4 hours old, EB will just re-shrink it and slap it on as "new".
