I know that 2K9 will have a name database what I don't know is does it have a first and last name database?
Thanks.... Scooter....
It has both first and last name. Its setup pretty much the same way College Hoops 2k8 had the naming system. You could enter the name, but then pick a name from a list after typing in a few letters.
For instance I created a C named Larry Taylor. After typing "l-a-r" i moved down and selected Larry. Then did the same for Taylor.
Jersey Question here. Can you let me know what the Jersey combos are for the DBACKS?

Online Features (avatar, player card, leaderboards, online options, faq).
Leagues can have as few as four people and then need to have 2 players all the way up to 30. (so 4, 6, 8, 10, etc.)
Can't tell if the other teams are computer controlled or if a 4 team league means there are just four teams period. This would have fantasy draft implications as well (do you pick from all teams, or just the four in your league?)
Does anyone know if the Swing Stick 2.0 (or whatever 2k8's hitting mechanic was called) can be used in 2k9? (Just right stick hitting)
The default batting uses the right stick for your swing. Its a bit different from last year in that you use the left stick to "aim" and the right to stride and then swing.
So last year if you were a righty and wanted to pull you needed to pull back and then swing up toward 10 o'clock. This year you pre-aim the left stick to 10 and then just going back and forward with the right stick.
