anyone have glitchy pitching sometimes where the first movement (before the gesture phase) doesn't register correctly and you end up with a tiny yellow circle?

Re: PC version controller issues.
I have seen this and it is caused by the batter not being fully set in the box as you try to start your pitch and your pitch does not actually start until he is set therefore the pitch motion gets screwed up. The way to make sure this does not happen is to press what would be the A button on the XBOX 360 controller to assure that the batter and pitcher are ready for the next pitch. If you are using a different controller it should be what would be home plate in the diamond of buttons.Last edited by Amazin; 03-04-2009, 01:30 PM.Comment

Re: PC version controller issues.
Does this happen to anyone else? It certainly doesn't happen to me. When I click on the arrow, it toggles through the categories. FWIW, you can toggle through them with [ and ] on the keyboard I believe. < and > also toggle on screens with two sets of toggles.Comment

Yep, 360 controller is the way to go with this and a lot of other PC games that use a controller. You don't even have to set up the controller or assign any buttons. It's all automatically detected and plays just like it should.Comment

Re: PC version controller issues.
I could not get my Saitek P880 to change batting, pitching, etc bars. When I used the mouse, I found I had to click a little above, below, or to the side of the arrows to get it to change. It took me like 20 tries to find the sweet spot. Then each time I go in, I have to find it all over again. The pc interface for this game is brutal.

Re: PC version controller issues.
Hey, I plugged my 360 controller into my PC, and some files were automaticly downloaded in to my computer, but the controller doesn't work when I try to play the demo. When I press the button in the middle to turn the controller on, my 360 turns on...
What do I have to do to get it to work?
If you are using the hardwired 360 controller, this might help you:
If wireless, you need a wireless receiver to use it (shown here):
People talking about a "wired" 360 controller are talking about the hard wired one that is about 10$ cheaper than the wireless (not saying you you didn't know...just seen a lot of people get the two mixed up).
The wireless receiver costs about 15$ or so (maybe cheaper if you order it from certain sites).Comment
