Great news!

Not really a list of fixes, but 2kRon does say it will address the ai batting aggression. Here is complete post:

"Hey all,
To confirm what many of you have suspected by my other postings, we are going to have a second update be released in the coming weeks and a first one on PC that will encompass the day one update that was released on the consoles. There is no set date but I hope to have a better idea of when that will be late next week. The patch will address many issues, but most notably the AI batting aggression and the ease of home runs in online mode and certain difficulties. Those are the only ones I can confirm at this time. Thanks to those who posted in the Patch Fix List, I will be closing that list now. Please let me know if you have questions about the patch and I will do my best to answer them.

Hmm...well at least the PC is getting a patch now. My curiousity is why, since they haven't yet released one any way, just combine the the two patches for the PC?

Oh well. I don't mind that the PC is behind, but hopefully it gets patch#2 eventually as well.

At least, as Jeffy said, they are acknowledging these plans...should give players a bit more peace of mind going forward.

I think we'll all take that option over being stuck with this game as is.

This is good news for all. Just the AI fix is enough for many, but hopefully it covers a few of the other bigger issues that at least impact gameplay.

I got to say one of my hated things about the game is NOT the dreaded AI aggression. Since I have The show it is my single player game where MLB2k9 is my multiplayer experience. For online leagues and such.

I want to see the darn line frame rate fixed badly. It has to be one of the most annoying things. Sure the 2nd base pickoff = annoying, 1st base foot off bag = annoying. But the darn frame rate slowing to a utter stop on shots down the line or back behind the catcher has me wanting to punch the darn designers for not fixing this before release

Hi,

Back when i used to post on 2ksports board they acted like it was common knowledge that all franchises would need restarted for the patches to take effect; that no franchises would be grandfathered. I am in the same boat as you though.
