Re: 1B not stepping on the bag

I'm in my second season in my franchise (Play every 1/4 of the games) and I've only had this happen a few times. If you're paying attention you sometimes have enough time to fix it by just taking a step backwards with your first baseman.

This isn't nearly as annoying as fly balls bouncing off my outfielders' faces because for some reason they don't feel like lifting their glove.

Has this glitch been confirmed by Ron or the developers? I'm scared that it won't be included in the 2nd patch, thus ruining this game for me. Oh well, we shall see.

Basically, the only "confirmation" we've received is from one of the mods saying that the information has been sent along to the developers. We don't really have any confirmation that this information has been received or if they are planning on doing anything about it.

With the HUGE stink that this glitch has generated, one would hope that patch #2 addresses it... OR that the developers at least acknowledge the fact that it's a problem and can't be fixed.
"I was telling George Kottaras behind the plate, 'How do you even catch Wakefield's knuckle?'" Oakland shortstop Orlando Cabrera said. "He was like, 'I just close my eyes.' And I said, 'OK, I'm going to try that one, I'm going to close my eyes and swing.' And nothing."

I have rarely seen this glitch (I never use LT for throws, btw). The few times where it has happened it has mainly happened to the AI (i.e. my non-player opponent) and is always referenced as an error.

So perhaps it's a failng of the program in that it is trying to give the first baseman an error. I dunno. Sounds like it's happening a lot to a lot of people but rarely for a few of us. Perhaps there's something in the control set up? Or throwing mechanics?
