I'm playing a franchise with the Mets and White Sox (Mets favorite team, Sox cause I have Quentin, Ramirez and Jenks on my fantasy team).
Johan obviously is deadly. I also have had alot of success with Pedro (signed him to be my 5th starter), but unlike others, Maine has gotten shelled in 3 of his 4 starts this season.
For the Sox...I really really like using Contreras surprisingly. Nothing dominating or overpowering, but he has both a sinker and splitter and they just drop off the table and batters either swing over the top or hit nothing but grounders off him. John Danks was also solid for me early on (2-0 in 2 gs, 14 k/2 bb and only 3 er) but he got hurt and is out for 2 months nowComment

I've got to add Brad Lidge now too.
I just love bringing him in to close games. His stuff is wicked, and other than a solo HR hit by SD's Adrian Gonzalez to tie a game in the T9th - for Lidge's 1st blown SV. I've been lights out w/ him.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeComment

Playing my 1st gm as BAL in my chise, after 22 games played w/ the Phillies. I made some call-ups/send downs, and Liz was called up to be my 4th SP.
Pitching w/ him for the first time here was his line vs TB.
7.0 IP 7H 1 ER 0 BB 9 K - 1 HR by Burrell.

Franchise Liriano and Clayton Kershaw
Both tons of fun to pitch with, I have a franny with Minnesota and I have the dodgers in a league over at unitedleagues.com... Liriano throws ched in the game and has that wicked slide piece. Kershaw throws gas as well and has a nasty bender that buckles kids knees all over the place... so far in the league I'm 5-1, and Kershaw's two starts have been shutouts with about 17k's (a lot backwards :wink

your grammar is impeccable. Anyway, I use Roy Halladay. I can spot anything with him, and his curveball is amazing.
I can't throw gas with anyone though, I use classic pitching. I can only throw 94 with lincecum and the cpu touched 101 against me..Comment

Ever since the patch i have had 1 game get out of hand and i won 15-12. I didnt hit but 2 home runs, but the other dud ehad like 3 or 4. If you are playing someone that swings at EVERY single pitch. I just pitch them out of the strike zone. THey can say whatever they want to me, but i am not going to play their game. I will force them to make adjustments.
I dont have problems holding teams to reasonable scores. I just lost a game 3-2 earlier. 1 home run hit and that was by David Ortiz in the 8th inning.
Anyways, i only use the Dodgers and i love using Billingsly. I love his 2 seam fastball. Playing with the sensitiviy of the gestures i can make it have big time movement.Comment

Love playing w/ Baltimore. Their SPs might not be highly rated, but damn if I don't dominate w/ them.
I pitched my first gm w/ Guthrie over the weekend facing off w/ Toronto, and he had 16K W. Another pitcher that is awesome is Koji Uehara.
He throws a screwball (using the gesture of a slider), and a forkball - both are deadly and result in a lot of swings and misses or outs. If you use him, don't throw is 4-seam all too often, it will get knocked around.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeComment

Marlins Josh Johnson - 50.1 IP 1.60 ERA 0.93 WHIP 9.9 K/9
7 games started, 2 of those complete games, 1 of those shutouts.
.235 Baa, only 2 homeruns hit off him. Best in league for me on my franchise with Jimenez right behind him.
