I didn't realize this, but they actually charge you for it.

You actually get a charge from Microsoft everytime you do this, so you in essence paid $85 for this game (I did)

This is not true. MS nor Sony have ever charged for a patch. Period.

Yes they did. I was charged $8.99 on my debit card statement this month for getting online and downloading the patch the game the day came out!

I would simply dispute those charges and get them knocked off my statement... trust me, it'll be worth making the phone call.

Hi all,
I want to officially confirm that the patch has been submitted and is going under approvals as we speak. That still puts us at an approximate Opening Day release without any hitches. I am still in the UK but I am trying to get full notes on it and hope to have that ASAP.

Especially because you only need silver for any patch, which does not require any credit/debit card info at all.

I'm praying they fix the edit issues (stances/deliveries and CAP limit) so I can buy this thing.

I agree, I haven't given this game a shot yet because of that. I'm very nit picky about those things, so hopefully they'd open it up. But, I'm sure it would've been included in the list if they changed it...

I doubt it. Are you sure you didn't purchase points for DLC or something? Or maybe it was a fee for what ever Gold plan you're on?

I'm only asking because they DO NOT charge for patches. IF they did, it was likely an error.

You were charged for one month of XBox Live Gold, not the patch.

yes, but like someone else mentioned, you only need the silver account of XBOX Live, so there is no fee.

I hope the change the way outfielders approach the ball in the outfield like he slow mo thing. Would be nice not to have this slow mo fast forward thing going on in the field. It is nice to see however that the outfielding AI and the 1st baseman glitch will be gone so i can use the buttons again, i get offline throws alot more with them and seems much more realistic.
