As a site, OS is really blowing up. You can tell that by the kinds of ads they are able to attract.

I'm quite sure that the likes of MLB/Mike won't be allowed to stay here long.

His posts are offensive, immature, sometimes incoherent, often inarticulate, low brow, and attention seeking. He adds nothing to any thread he posts in, and has not (as far as I can see) ever uttered a single productive word.

Let's pity him for the miserable life he must lead and wish him well on another forum that isn't this one.

***DISCLAIMER*** I am not a moderator and do not claim to speak for the moderators. I am, however, a rational, mature, adult who does not want to frequent sites where his kind is accepted. And, I dare say that anyone who has read even a single post by this ignoramous would agree.

Re: Is MLB 2k9 more fun?

I have been playing the Show since the PS1 days. It's always been a great game. But I picked up 2K9 post-patch, and yes, I agree, it is a FUN game.

What I really like about 2K9 is the presentation. I just love the camera angles. the wide view of the field, the dynamism of the fielding camera. ( i'm glad 2k got rid of the atrocious fielding camera form 2k8 )

Sometimes in the Show, I guess, I just get tired of looking at the same fielding camera for 4 years now.

There's just something about seeing the sky, in a baseball game. I makes me feel like I'm outside.. at the ballbark.. i dunno, must be a leftover from my childhood days under the bright blue sky, paying ball.

Anyhoot, I'm playing both games. What more could I ask for! It's a pretty good year for video baseball.

How is that a pretty similar thread. It's a pretty biased thread if you ask me. At least this thread, with the exception of a few, give a balanced review.

I have played both games I only own a xbox so I play 2k9 more but, 2k9 seems to have a slight "fun factor" the show is amazing and does baseball right but, I think the presentation feels canned and not as life like w/ the announcing.
          Gaming hard since 1988

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

I own both games. 2k9 on xbox and show on ps3. I give the edge to the show and that's the game my franchise is rolling with. But I absoulutely love the presentation in 2k9. The announcing feels and sounds so much like a tv broadcast. The fake commercial breaks are very well done. And the crowd feels like they have their own personality, but I think the crowd audio should be amped up more next year and have more emotion after a walk off win. Overall, this is a good year for baseball gaming.
