Here is my updated gamedata.iff It will get rid of the colored popups after each pitch, showing where they were and pitch type. Also the baserunner icons, have been made smaller. The circle around them, I didn't touch so they don't always line up perfectly with it. I have been lazy and its not really a big issue I also eliminated some of the yellow lines going across the screen in hurry up baseball between pitches.

I live in the UK and have a UK 360 and PS3. I have imported The Show for the PS3 - great game. I tried the demo of MLB 2K9 on the 360 and really enjoyed it - reading some positive post patch impressions now too. It hasn`t been released in the UK and I can`t import it for the 360 as it`s not region free.

Just noticed MLB2K9 is on offer at direct2drive for PC at £4.95 until today - Is it worth getting for the PC and how close to the 360 version is it ?

        Cheers
Well for £4.95 around $7.50 I purchased it. I want developers to make PC sports sims so can`t complain if I don`t buy them. It is a 7.33gb download mind via direct2drive - ouch. Downloaded overnight so will give it a try tonight using the 360 controller.

        Cheers

Thanks - the direct2drive page also linked to the 1.1 patch.

Had a quick go tonight and very positive first impression - like a high res 360 version - played at 1920x1200 on a Q6600 @ 3.0 ghz amd a HD4850 512mb card - played very smooth.

Saw a nice variation of hits - no homers - started at Pro and only played 4 innings. Plugged in the 360 wired controller and it worked great - controls also listed in the manual for it.

Nice looking though and hopefully it can put up a decent realistic(ish) game of baseball. Surely with sliders plus mods if necessary for the PC version this has the potential for a very good sports game and hopefully sim.

            Cheers
