The more I play this game and watch baseball the more realistic I find it.
1. The stats are accurate
2. there are alot of times when teams have god like innings when they are up to bat.
3. I do see the outfielders misplay balls. I realize now that this happens more frequently in baseball games Ive seen on TV.
4. There are alot of diving catches in baseball, more than I thought. There are 1 or 2 highlight catches in every MLB game. they all cant make sports center.
only gripes would be
-the pitch counts, which in my franchise are at around 80-90 for teh AI, and Im at around 90-120. I find the issue to be my lack of patience at the plate, especially when I fall behind. Im sure if I were patient at the plate, and really searched out my preferred pitches to hit for an entire 9 innings, the AI pitch count would be in the 90-120 range more consistently.
- players sometime stand around the ball when hit, but the remedy to that is the fielder lock function. players now aggressively go after the ball, when they are suppose to.
However this takes away some of that anticipation feel in the outfield. the ball that is misplayed, which again happens more often than I thought.
