I would like my OF to catch the ball if I am in the target zone. Also, I would love to see some catches at wall made easier and more realistically.

2K9 built a good foundation, now it's time to work out the bugs and improve on their effort.

LOL, yea right.. That is never gonna happen. 2K hasn't even gotten the basics right in the past 3 years.

It's not out of the realm of possibility, especially after the introduction of MyPlayer in the NBA 2k series.

You're right. It's possible, but do you think it would be a wise choice for them to tackle that aspect of the game at this point ?

I've already contributed some, but I couldn't find it and wasn't sure if my post went through:

The "absolute must haves"

1. Player editing and customization. It's been mentioned, but being to edit your stance, pitching motion, even your swing finish (one handed or two handed) is a must-have for any baseball game.

2. Some realistic stats. Make it so user batters K every now and then. And make it so I don't have to quit my franchise 20 games in because Albert Pujols has 15 homers already.

and what I think is a good idea in general:

3. Co-Op mode: This absolutely made Madden 10 an outstanding game for me. The ability to play a franchise with a friend would make this a very fun game. Here's how it would work:

Have a simple screen assigning each player to a profile. For example, I would assign
Skip Schumaker to player 1
Albert Pujols to player 2
Adam Wainwright to player 2
Ryan Ludwick to CPU

Player 1 would control Schumaker's ABs, and player 1 would be the only one allowed to play defense with Skip.

Player 2 would control Wainwright's ABs, and would pitch the game. If you wanted to get really technical you could have player 1 be catcher, player 2 be pitcher. Player 1 calls the pitches and player 2 executes them.

You could have this screen as an option for each individual game or as a permanent franchise fixture. Say my buddy and I start a franchise. If he wants to see what kind of season he can have with Ludwick, then he could be in charge of Ludwick for the entire season by setting Ludwick to player 1 on this screen.

It wouldn't be that much work to add it in, it would add a new element to sports gaming in baseball, and it might even draw in some fans who have given up on the series.

Better have Outfield arm strength toned down and not by throwing lobs. As well as accuracy not only taking a step off the bag. It is really getting old year after year and this is not implemented.
