i'll be certain to let that date pass right on by... not dropping sixty bucks until i'm certain that this game has fixed some major issues that need it.

Well, if they are releasing it that late, there better be some significant upgrades (i.e. 40 man rosters). Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the show comming out in early March? 2k is really going to feel the heat when SCEA releases their product. Like many of you, I will wait once again this year and just rent it first to determine whether or not it is a worthy purchase.

I'm def. rooting for 2k to succeed though because we haven't had 2 or more quality baseball games in years.

Gamestop says the show is releasing on march 9th and amazon.com says 2k10 is releasing on March 31st. I hope that 2k releases on march 31st because 2k needs to take as mach time as possible to make the best game.

2k is screwed without impulse buyers. If those dates are correct, The Show will wipe the floor with them.

QFT. I'm waiting at least 2-3 weeks after release before I even think about picking this game up. It's been trash for the last 2 years IMO and 2k7 was servicable at best. I may just end up hooking the original XBOX up and playing some MVP 2005 this summer.

I really want to see what direction VC went with this game, but part of me wished they took a year off in terms of releasing a game. Production-wise, I hope they gave themselves at least an 18 month cycle, if not 21 months. Unfortunately that's not happening here.

I really hope the real time stuff has been re-written so it's not a faux real time like 2K9.

If this is true, it's probably a good thing. I hope this gives them more time on the game. I'll definitely be waiting to rent it to see if it's worth the purchase or not, but I'm really hoping they can somehow suprise me.

I really hope that march 31st is the date because I am hoping that that will give 2k a little more time to work on the game. I really want to get a baseball game this year without purchasing a PS3.

Will be a day one purchase for me. I'm the odd duck that found after some slider tweaking, both 2K8 and 2K9 were pretty good. The pitching was better in 2K8, but the overall production was better in 2K9.

Wish we could get a read on what kind of features are being tweaked, removed, or added.

Yep, this is def a no go for me this year after I wasted 60 bucks on 2k8.
