i have been thinking about this for a long time. 2k year after years has produced non playable baseball games at this point the games can not get any worse so there is only one direction to go in up. i might actually consider buying both baseball games this year for the first time since 2k6

Optimism is good but do not think a game cannot get any worse. There is always that possibility with any game.

The gameplay might get better, but then knowing 2K it could end up being a bigger bug-fest than usual. So two directions at least: up and sideways.

You never know 2k could surprise us this year, but for now I'm not getting my hopes up.

I would love for it to be a good, if not great game. The one constant problem that I fear is the mere fact that have had so many people rip this game apart and try to rebuild it...I just do not know how they can correct that.

We all know the past history of MLB 2K. Not all of us have a PS3 and mlb 2k is our only option.

I'm probably in the minority but I believe that this is the year the 2k finally gets on track with their baseball game. There's only a couple more years until they lose their license anyway.

I have a PSP, but it's kind of broken and playing on the PS2 just isn't the same as playing it on the PS3. It is doable, but I would prefer to play it on the PS3.

I really wish it was multi platform. I don't own a PS3. That's the only reason I defend 2k, but I don't force myself to buy it. I passed on 2k9.

Because I wanted a recent MLB video game to play on my PC, I gave MLB 2K9 a fair shake, but I didn't get anywhere. The game just didn't feel authentic to me. No tailing line drives, batters with no patience, pitches and hits with strange physics, etc. just turned me off from the game after a few weeks.
