I'd say "stadiums" and "lighting" are considered to be a part of "graphics". I'm guessing with "presentation" you're including commentary, so I won't include that. But basically you were saying that the aesthetics were most important to you, yes?

Unfortunately, I'd have to agree. MLB 2K8 was a mess for the very reason that the game was a headache to watch, the grass color made me puke, and the framerate was damn near unbearable on the PS3. 2K9 was at least passable to watch, but wasn't any better to play.

I do have high hopes for 2K10's improvements (I think 360 owners may finally have a game to play again), but they will still have a long way to go.

The improvement on aesthetics was a definite plus IMO. It would have been great if they would've started re-doing AI Code & Animations 1st. I can't blame them for for doing aesthetics 1st because as you said, 2k8 was a very ugly looking game. 2k9 looks 100x better

How does that make it better than 2k8? Everything you listed has nothing to do with game play(the most important thing).

I thought 2k9 looked worse than 2k8. The players looked and moved like zombies. They all looked so pale...And the stadiums were ruined by the insane amount of ads everywhere. Plus, no outside shots of stadiums either(BOOOOOOOOOO!)

BTW, the frame rate in 2k8 is fine for me(360).
