I really am.
It surprises me to actually feel this way and even more surprised that I'm actually saying it.
I've spent the past few hours at 2K's site reading all of the insights and I must say that I am almost impressed with the changes that 2K has made.
The stadiums look great. The overall graphics are not better than that other game, but I can live with that if other significant improvements were made. I love great graphics, but I can live with good graphics if the game is fun to play. 2K9 was not, nor was 2K8, really. But I believe that 2K realizes the gap between them and that other game and has stepped up their efforts. I saw a poll on Pasta Padre asking what game consumers would buy - 2K or The Show, and 71 percent said that The Show was the game for them. This has to make 2K take notice and step up their game. It might take two years, but 2K just might catch that other game.
Anyone see the new graphical interface? The implementation of MLB Today is pretty sweet, too.
I will give this game a chance. That means that instead of telling myself that I am buying a PS3 on March 2, I will wait and read massive reviews and watch videos on this game after the release date. I will be here at OS, seeing what all the first day buyers are saying. If it sounds good, I'll buy this damn game.
