Man, everyone on my team has forgotten how to hit.
Game 1 vs. the Brewers- Don't remember a whole lot except what happened in the 8th inning. I was down 4-2 with a runner on and Geovany Soto up. He hits a deep bomb to center, I get out of my chair thinking I had tied the game up. Carlos Gomez robs it

Game 2- Tie game bottom 9th, 2 all. Carlos Marmol can't keep it tied, Brewers win it 3-2.
Game 3- I'm winning 3-1 bottom 9th. Bring in Marmol to shut it down, it was a rocky inning but we came away with the win 3-2.
Game 1 vs the Nationals- This was a heartbreakier. I was up 6-3 in the 8th. Carlos Marmol was unavailiable so I decided to make Angel Guzman, my usual set up man, the closer for tonight. I brought in Samardzija in the 8th, he was able to get 1 out but also gave up 2 hits. I brought in John Grabow to get Adam Dunn out, and he was able to, but then he gave up a single to Josh Willingham to load the bases. I made a huge mistake to Pudge Rodriguez and he takes me deep for a go ahead grand slam. I wasn't able to score again, and the Nats win 7-6.
Game 2- Strasburg(whom I probably made way too good, but I just live with it) shut me down through 7. I was able to get to him in the 8th and I knocked him out of the game, and scored 2 runs. Down 4-2 in the 9th Aramis Ramirez got on, but Geovany Soto grounded into a double play the next pitch. Alfonso Soriano hits a solo homerun a couple pitches, and I lose the game 4-3.
Game 3- Pitchers duel. John Lannnan pitched 7 scoreless innings, Ted Lilly pitched 8 scoreless innings. Fast forward to the bottom of the 10th, first and third 1 out. Soriano hits a medium fly ball to the outfield and I figure I'll test Nyjer Morgans arm with Marlon Byrd. I barely get thrown out, and end up with nothing that inning. Now bottom of the 11th, Fukudome and Hill both ground out. I think I have no chance at scoring, but I pinch hit Andres Blanco for the pitcher. He gets a bloop hit to shallow right. Ryan Theriot also gets a base knock. Jeff Baker rips a line drive just past the shortstop for a single. Now there's bases loaded, 2 outs, and Marlon Byrd coming to the plate. 1-2 count, Randall Sanders throws a fastball up and in, Marlon Byrd is able to hit a line drive up the middle for the win.
Now I stand at 11-11, and the Cardinals are still on a roll at 16-5, I'm even behind the Pirates who are 11-10. Right Field is a black hole for me right now, but I think I may have found the answer. Fukudome is hitting around .220, and Xavier Nady isn't much better at .230. Jeff Baker has been on a tear this past week, he's hitting around .320, 3 doubles, 1 triple, and a homerun. He's only a 70 rating in right field, but I'll take it rather than automatic outs in the lineup. I do see Jermaine Dye sitting in free agency, and he looks pretty tempting, but with the money I have left I think I want to add a good bullpen arm because my bullpen is pretty bad.
Still have plenty of time to decide though, it's only the end of april. Coming up I have series against the D'backs, Pirates, and Reds. I think I should do pretty well against the Pirates and Reds, but that's what I thought going into the Nats series as well.
