For funsies I decided to go back into My Player last night to see if it would work yet...no dice. Still freezes after hitting "start" at the player progression screen following year two.

Re: MLB 2K10 Official "My Player" Thread
Is this game mode worth it? I mean I'm a strictly franchise mode guy but this year and last years franchise mode has been absolutely BROKEN!! Are all these bugs true about My Player mode: SP pitch CG 80% of the time, people are hitting .350+ 80 HR and 250 RBI years???Comment

Re: MLB 2K10 Official "My Player" Thread
The pitcher's one has been gone for a long time. They fixed pitcher's stamina with the first update of the year. I never played as a hitter, so I have no idea about tha tone. I know in my "My Player" mode, the computer players in the league have some ridiculous numbers. There's been a handful of players in both the AL and NL who it will say have played in 265 games in a year with like 195 RBI or there will some pitchers who have appeared in 180 games with 400 K's, crap like that. Don't know why, but it does.Is this game mode worth it? I mean I'm a strictly franchise mode guy but this year and last years franchise mode has been absolutely BROKEN!! Re: MLB 2K10 Official "My Player" Thread
In Mlb 2k10, I think my player mode is way too easy at normal, i might try out a harder difficulty.
I say it's easy because in my debut, i hit 3 homeruns, second game was a cycle, and in by the time i was playing my 16th major league game, i was at a .358 B.A. (offcourse), 23 homeruns, and about 76 rbi
My little brother is in his second season and he had 92 homeruns, 207 RBIs, and a .444 BA before the allstar break ( i think he is obssessed with the game)
I also made a new player that only pitches fastballs and knuckleballs and i already have 135 strikeouts and a 0.00 era and a 32-0 recordComment

Re: MLB 2K10 Official "My Player" Thread
People in this group definitly need to up their difficulty. I'm playing on Pro and just made it to the Majors and it is difficult I'm derfinitly not hitting 80 hr's and 300 rbi's but more less hitting like 2.50 with 2 hrs and 17 rbis in 20 somethin games. I don't know if this is just me being bad but there is no way in your first year in the majors you would be able to hit like that if the difficulty were higher than rookie. jus' sayinComment

Re: MLB 2K10 Official "My Player" Thread
I have been hitting better but have slumps here and there like real baseball I'm really not to worried because It is only the first season and were 5 games ahead in our division once we lose in the playoffs which im just assuming will happen because the brewers pitching staff isnt strong enoguh im requesting a trade to the tigers in the AL were i dont have to reach base and have the pitcher strike out every timeComment

Re: MLB 2K10 Official "My Player" Thread
Just completed first season as 2B with the Padres. Overall fun mode! However, I was disappointed when I won the World Series and there was no special presentation or anything. Just regular end-of-game screen. They need to change that for next year.
Finished season with .311 avg, 39 HR, 114 RBI, and 25 SB. Some other player with worse stats won MVP!? Not sure how much more I'll play of this mode...I think I've seen all of what it has to offer.NOW PLAYING: Battlefield 3, MLB 12 The Show

Re: MLB 2K10 Official "My Player" Thread
So has anyone actually made it to AAA? I have noticed playing this 2 times already I get moved up to the majors in the first year. Yes, I know that there are goals you have to complete and all, but I was actually playing it to where when I do make it to the MLB, I am a good defensive player and a good runner, not just all power or contact. So I got up to a 71 i believe, and I was the 3rd best shortstop in my organization and i still didnt get called up to AAA. I was batting like .387 16hrs 56 rbis....so i got tired and got my contact up to 60+ and went to the majors....Comment

Re: MLB 2K10 Official "My Player" Thread
No. 10 char.Originally posted by roher4The one thing I hate about this mode is the inability to check swing. Does anybody know how? I got the game today but have been playing the demo for a while. MP has struck out like 7 times due to pitches that I swung at by accident: moving the R-Stick a little bit. (Sorry if someone posted this already).Comment

Re: MLB 2K10 Official "My Player" Thread
I just made it to AAA with a SP (Ebby Calvin LaLoosh). Played a full AA season and got a training camp invite. After spring training, super agent guy said he still needed some seasoning, so we went back to AA. All goals were met except WHIP and Opp BA. When I met the goal for Opp BA, super agent guy said it's time for him to move to AAA. I chose the Orioles as his team, so he started on the Bowie Baysox and then moved to the Norfolk Tides. Very cool as I didn't want to just jump into the Majors.Comment
