Is it possible to remove a patch after installation in case that you don't like the changes?

I read somewhere that earned runs are credited to the wrong pitcher, ummm yea thats kinda a huge deal for anyone who is planning on playing a full season, someone stated if a releiver comes in with bases loaded, say he gives up a slam, he gets all 4 runs credited to him, clearly not correct and I agree with alot of the problems mentioned in this thread but thats a huge stat killer and just a baseball killer, needs to be in the patch no doubt........on a note I have not tested this out yet and it may just be a visual error in the final box score and not reflect your actual ERA stats, not sure tho, someone may confirm this soon after reading

Yeah, you would have to clear your cache. Which means that you would lose all your other patches for your other games. Then you could just redownload all the other patches for your other games.

how about the option to turn off vibration when pitching and also for the ball marker to fade when pitching against the cpu...unless im missing something, i had to go into main 360 settings and turn off the vibrate...i really dont wanna know if im going to throw a ball when im nibbling on the corners, id like the element of surprise.

and also maybe fixing it so that the catcher doesnt give away the exact location of the pitch before the pitch has even left the pitcher's hand when batting with the behind the pitcher view.... ( maybe make the catcher wait an extra second to get to where the ball ends up like the show). why have such a great presentation and then ruin it with this and u cant play how it would look on tv?

I think all of u need to understand that the throwing speed of fielders are lifelike especially as compared to base-runner speed. The throwing meters are way to easy and haven't seen any errors after numerous games in all modes!

Re: 2K Ron asking for patch feedback

can anybody add these to the 2kforum patch thread before its closed today, since they are still not listed (I registered at 2k and activated days ago, but do not have access yet still).....

                - If they lower the arm strength (a must), then they also need to lower baserunning speed. yes, there is a slider for this, but online games would be way out of balance at default. the baserunners are waaaay too fast as it is.

                - lower fielder arm accuracy greatly. every throw is right to the base.

                - lower all pitchers range and fielding abilities greatly. we've all seen this issue.

                - errors is on the list, which is good - but infielders need to be way more error prone. the slider last year worked well, and the error animations were great. we need more fielders knoicking down the ball but not getting a clean dive and throw to first etc. everyone is a defensive wizard in this game once again!

props to anyone that can post these for me, as I assume most would agree these are issues that are patchable and would do wonders for the gameplay...

I want to be able to select a different fielding camera. I hate it when it goes directly overhead of an outfileder and you're looking straight down on the fielder. in the infield it is fine but on balls hit to the outfileld I would like to have choices for cams.

So, are you saying that big-time players, e.g. Pujols, if they go down to the minors for a rehab stint and then return, look NOTHING like themselves? If that's the case, I'm furious. 2k did that to us LAST year and never patched it. If that's in this year's game (which I JUST opened, having crossed my fingers that this particular bug wasn't in the game), I'm off to Gamestop to try to get my money back or as much of it as I can. ENOUGH with the bugs, 2k!!! We pay good money for a GOOD product, not this pile of crap!!

I still see that when you bring in a pinch hitter for a pitcher that it burns your mound visit at the start of the next inning. It doesn't seem like it would be a big deal, but in 2k9 there were a few times when i got into trouble with my closer and couldn't calm him down. That led to me losing the game as well as my temper. On the 2k thread I have seen this mentioned numerous times, but I don't see it in the final list. I don't have an account there (and don't really feel like starting one for a single comment) so could somebody mention it to the guy that is putting the list together?

Re: 2K Ron asking for patch feedback

I posted this over at 2ksports.com but never got a response and it wasn't acknowledged in the bug list. To me, the double switch and pitcher substitution issues are MAJOR. I double switch all the time and having it restricted takes away the fun factor and a level of strategy.

                            -- snip --

+I can't bat my pitcher 8th. (Cardinals do this from time to time, I want to do it).
Double switch doesn't work properly in the following situation. I will give the exact situation from my MLB Today Braves @ Mets game last night.

Begin Top 9th, 8th batter is up (forget who that is), he flies out. I pinch hit for Derek Lowe with Eric Hinske. He flies out to deep center. Nate McClouth bats next and grounds out. To start the bottom of the 9th, Hinske is in my Pitcher slot. I want to move him to CF to play in McClouth's spot and I want my Pitcher to come in for McClouth. If you try to use the double switch option here, you can put the pitcher in McClouth's spot, but then it has you try to insert a new defender into Hinske's spot. I don't want to do that, I want to move Hinske over to CF. The current double switch option doesn't allow it, it REQUIRES you to insert a new fielder. This also fails if you try to do a defensive substitution first since the P slot is greyed out. I even tried putting my relief pitcher in CF and then swapping positions with Hinske, but that failed too. If I'm missing something here, please let me know. I reported this last year in MLB 2k9 and apparently nothing was done about it. I hate using the word "gamekiller", but since I LOVE managing my team this way, I need to be able to move guys around where ever and whenever I want. Not having this option wastes a pinch hitter and takes away a level of strategy.

+I should also be able to put a Left Handed pitcher in LF for a batter if I need to bring in a Right Handed pitcher for matchup reasons and my bullpen is thin. Pineilla did this against the Cards last year, because he didn't want to waste an extra guy out of his bullpen to get a lefty v lefty matchup.

+The IF animation where they catch a bloop line drive over their shoulder happens way to often. This is tied into fielder speed and fielder reaction time. Tone down both and you will see more bloop singles. Right now they are able to get to too many balls.

+Fielder throwing accuracy needs to be based more on ratings and less on the meter. Both OF & IF throws are too accurate.

+Breaking pitches should break less when thrown high in the zone (or they should "hang" if thrown improperly and up in the zone). If I throw a 12-6 curve ball high in the zone, it has the same amount of break if I throw it low in the zone. That shouldn't happen, you need to keep those types of pitches down for max effectiveness.

+As I was browsing through franchise, I noticed that almost every player I looked at had incorrect salary information listed. Hopefully this can be addressed in a roster update.

                            -- snip --

If anyone can help me out with this, I would appreciate it. However, I'm pretty sure they just created a half-assed double switch system.

Well don't you know? The AL style of play is the real style of baseball.

But no, I hate that too lol.

That thread is locked, but I've noticed that in Franchise if you have a CAP (like Strasburg) they start out with 75 energy for the first game, with everyone else starting at 99.
