The only way I won was because they put in Papelbon and I strung together a couple base hits and Morneau ended it with a walk-off shot that left the stadium entirely.

My main problem is using the left stick. I don't realize I am even using it until I hit a shallow fly ball and notice that I am still holding up on the left stick.

Hitting is very difficult for me, but I am going to try to play a couple games using the aforementioned method of going left stick-less, and relying on timing only, which should solve my fly-ball problem.
Yea thats how I worked on my hitting to where I can be more consistent now is to forget about the left stick completely until you can get the timing down.

Now I only use the left stick in certain situations like when I'm in need of a tag-up, I spot a weakness in the outfield or I'm bunting. Bunting is pretty effective in this game which is always good.

But anyways..playing the Nats I can get a HR with Zimmerman, Dunn, or Dukes somewhat consistently every couple games or so. This last game I played against the Cubs ..even though Zambrano got 13 K's on me I was able to get a single shot with Zimmerman in the 8th.

i dont think the LS is used for anything while hitting with the RS. i have messed with it for hours and i do not see any influence on where the ball is hit using the LS

I dont use the LS as well, and that's with me using classic hitting. It's never seemed to work right.

Now that I'm hitting better, I still wasnt getting any power on my hits(this is on My Player with me being a 68 overall now....Power levels are at 68), at Pro Default(50). So I upped the Human Power slider to 60. Next game, first at bat, I turned on one, and hit a 3-1 fastball in the left field bullpen. Finished that game 2 for 4. Next game, 2nd at bat, I went yard, and finished the game at 3 for 5. However, none of these felt cheap or unrealistic. I hit good pitches that never went out with power at 50. Plus, Ive played 10 games since then, and though ive had some good hitting games with hard hit balls, I hadnt hit a homer.

Agree with all of the comments on here, I played the live game (or whatever it is where you can play that days game), and I was TB against the Pirates, I lost 1-0 on Default all-star sliders, I had 8 hits, but I struck out at least 13 times. Also, how do you steal? I have tried every button combination I could think of after looking in the instructions, and still...nothing...
