MLB 2K10 is crashing in every game I play in Franchise mode right now in 2011. Tried installing to hard drive. Doesn't work.

Don't know if it's a corrupt save file, or what. It could be a player is invalid now, because he didn't in a boxscore in the last game I played. It might be this guy who is doing it.

Will let you know what happens when I send him down and put a different rookie in his place.

EDIT: It's not crashing now. Must be a corrupted player file.

Box score for pitchers is messed up for extra innings games.

I used 4 pitchers but it only shows 3 on the box score and they used 5 but only 4 show up in the box score. They show the correct ammount in the summary.

Also I don't think it goes from evening to night fast enough. Didn't turn until the 11th or 12th.

Be careful. That's how I knew one player was corrupted - he didn't appear in the boxscore or the Highlights.

Posted this in a couple of other threads already, but there are several people here who think that the A.I. is still overly aggressive at the plate. Unless you purposely throw balls outside of the zone, I'd estimate that the A.I. will have 2-3 pitch at-bats at least 80% of the time. I understand that you do have to throw junk pitches to keep the hitters off-balance, but the entire basis of this year's game is the "Battle at the Plate", and up to this point, I haven't really seen this from the A.I. Thanks to the Defensive Swing, I'm able to have some really cool battles with the CPU pitchers, but I have yet to experience this from the A.I. batters.

                  Just my two cents....

He wants to take the pinch hitter from the mound and leave him in the game at another position.

Example. Pinch hit A-Rod for Sabathia. Then leave him in at third base. You can't.

It's a key aspect of NL strategy.

Re: Official MLB 2K10 Glitches/Bugs Thread

I have found several annoying glitches in this game. The last one I played was 2k7 so I don't know all the stuff that happened in 2k9, but if 2k10 really is so much better, then 2k9 must of been the worst game ever. And I play on All-Star difficulty, don't know if that matters.

                      - I've had hits that fall in front of outfielders get called out. The ball hits just in front and as it hits the ground some strange force pulls it into their glove calling it a catch.

                      - Also had similar strange force on a ball of the wall and the fielder caught it off the wall like 4 feet away and the ball only went in there glove by a glitch. If it hits the wall it obviously isn't an out.

-Fielders have way too much range on cpu controlled teams. I have hit a bullet down the line opposite field only to have the first baseman or thridbasemen who is playing way off the line, glitch or whatever you want to call it all the way over to the ball. I hit a ball as hard as you can hit it on line, Like it would of been a no doubter HR if it had enough height, and it was caught by the SS who was like 10 steps away. Almost all balls hit up the middle somehow get fielded...

-The Cpu pitchers make to many catches. I have drilled them and they catch it. I've hit them with the ball and they just pick the ball up and throw me out. That is ridiculous.

-base running sucks. The Triggers to advance runners are often unresponsive.

-Pickoffs- When the cpu tries to pick you off, your player will make a move to dive back, but sometimes it glitches and stops and then tried to dive back again.

                      - Stealing- If the Cpu wants to steal against you, they will. I have made sure they have normal leads and I have only thrown out like 4 out of 40. I don't think there is a pitch out either. I even had a pitcher, Joe Blanton Steal on me and Prince Fielder. Thats ridiculous.

                      - Cpu pitchers hit to good and often will foul off like 4 or 5 pitches. Most position players don't even do that. I had a pitcher go 3-3 with a double on my best stuff and I was retiring the good hitters.

                      - bunts- the cpu has done safety squeezes against me 3 times and was successful three times. The first two were terrible bunts right back to the pitcher and they are so slow to react to bunts and then do a full wind up throwing to the plate. The other the catcher picked it up down the line and let the runner run by him w/o tagging him.

                      - Players don't tag a lot of times. I had a ball beat the cpu runner by like 8 feet and my player didn't apply the tag. This happens too often.

                      - like I said, Cpu defense has too much range. They somehow catch rocket line drives by running backwards toward the outfiled. The ball should be traveling way faster than they can move and be out of reach.

                      - Sometimes the cpu cheats by hitting ground balls and your infielder makes and initial break to the ball, but then stops or jogs, giving up on it when they should of had it. By the time the camera angle changes and you can have full control, it is too late.

                      - Late in the game when it is either tied or you are winning, the cpu tends to hit everything. I have been in extra innings and every time the cpu swung, they made contact. It didn't matter if the they swung at the sinking in the dirt, they hit it and sometimes hit a high fly ball.

                      - Sometimes the outfielders lolly gag around when I am trying to throw a guy out.

                      - Runners don't tag up. You have to manually make the running go back to bag, and sometimes there is no time to make him get back before the ball is caught. and then of course it takes at least half a second after you hit the triggers for them to respond.

                      - Pickles- I have been in a few pickles and managed to get safe once because the bag got left open. I have had others where the cpu threw the ball to early and I was about 6 steps away and when I turned the back some how the ball got throw 90 feet, taken out of the glove and thrown 90 feet back before I could dive into the base. So basically the cpu cheats to make sure you get out in pickle.

                      - Cpu doesn't pull pitchers when tired or throwing 100+ pitches.

                      - If you save and quit, when you load it back up, all pithcers have full stamina again.

Thats all for now. I'm not even going to get into the My Player mode glitches.

It's funny. None of those problems occur for me when playing on Pro. Seems to me playing on All-Star is basically just handicapping yourself against the CPU by making them more unrealistic. Balls often get by the pitcher on Pro (they duck, stab unsuccessfully, etc). Fielders let balls drop realistically. CPU hitters will take strikes in the zone, or realistically swing at pitches out of the zone.

Try playing on Pro level. THe only issue I have regarding the CPU is the fact it can steal and never get caught.

This is more of a glitch I guess, but my pitcher turns bald while the ball is in play in the field every time. Not a big deal but when you pitch with long hair, it is kind of annoying This is on My Player mode, PC

                            2. Arroyo didn't come anywhere near set before picking him off. That is a balk.
If it was a spin move to the Arroyo's glove side (not an inside move to his right side), he doesn't have to come set...same as a pick to first from a righty. He can pivot and fire away.

If it was his inside move (life his left leg as if he is going to pitch and then pivoting on his right) then he does have to come set. Like a good lefty bluff move to first.
