I didn't read the first 7 pages, hopefully I'm not the broken record. Bean balls by the CPU happen way too often. I had 5 beaned batters in one game. In My Player I get hit probably every other game. That's getting ridiculous. I just play on default Pro.

Actually, I don't think this sounds too far off. Of course, the five hit batters should have resulted in some ejections, but it happens.

But getting hit every other game is only slightly higher than the rate as of 2006. And the rate was a on a steady rise. HBP seem to be a nearly every game issue in MLB.

That is surprising. I didn't have a clue beanings were happening at a clip of .400 per game. However, I am seeing multiple beanings a game and just as many brush backs. It gets old and as someone who watches a ton of baseball - when your gut tells you it's happening too frequently, often your gut is right. In a sense 1 bean ball every 2 games might not seem extreme, but multiple bean balls every 2 games is. And that's more accurately what I am seeing. (BTW, 2009 HBP average is .327/game)

On another note, I tried to start a thread on this but no responses. Is the 2k ticker broken?!? It's driving me nuts! MLB scores do not update and stay at 0-0 all day. Where NBA scores are continuously updating. I don't get why MLB scores would be broken and NBA scores updating no problem.

some one please help me out if ya can.. some how my player locks up (freezes) and when i wanna start a new my player career it locks up (freezes) any one else having this problem?

ok it works now but i had to delete everything including my player's career .. the heck 2k! really pathetic ... but like i said it works .. maybe its cuz i broke everyone's record it froze up lmao. who knows.

I'm sure this has been posted all over the forum, as I've seen it other places as well, but I want to share my personal pain and frustration with you guys.

I worked so hard at My Player. I've got 2 MVPs, a triple crown, 3 Silver Sluggers, 2 Gold Gloves, 2 All Star games, a Home Run Derby win, several 50+ HR seasons, and a 92 overall rating under my belt in just 5 years of game time. I was sick of the Yankees being in last place in the AL East, so I trade myself to the Dodgers before the season starts. The game still recognizes me as being on the Yankees. I cannot play a game. It is requiring me to watch opening day Yankees vs. Red Sox. I have to watch the entire game. After the game ends, 2K10 freezes. I'm 100% stuck. There is no information at the Home screen indicating what team I'm on, what position I play, etc. The schedule shows the Dodgers schedule for the year, not the Yankees.

I can deal with any camera issues, stupid glitches, things of the sort. This is unacceptable. They might as well have erased my data completely. How the hell did this possibly slip through the testing phase? It's happened to so many people, that it obviously isn't a freak occurrence. Readers beware: DO NOT trade yourself before the start of the season/after Spring Training. YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE!

just restart and simulate some more games, because there is no way you played 5 162 game seasons. it takes me about 2 1/2 months to play 1 season. although i play almost every game. baseball season is 7 months long and it hasnt even started yet. lol

no you are not the only one... happened to me to... after my rookie year... i won the rookie of the year award... 2nd season came around im batting excellent... leading the league in homers... speed at like 85 power and contact in the 80s... won the Home run Derby made the all star team... then traded myself from the nationals to the phillies... and now i can not play anything just like you...im beyond mad because i made another player but it seems so hard to get him back to that status... im in my 2nd year of the minors and im almost at the end... my first guy was called up with 140 games left into my 2nd year of the minors... this SUCKS

Major audio glitch here.

I was playing a franchise game, scoreless tie. Laynce Nix drilled a solo shot to left center off of me to take the lead, and just as the ball went over the wall, the crowd volume completely cut out.

Here's what stayed and here's what I lost:

could still hear:
announcers
umpire
train in Cincy?

could no longer hear:
crowd of any kind
bat sounds
ball hitting the catchers glove
menu music or effects.

I had to exit to the dashboard and then reboot the game. xbox 360....

again, not sure if this is a bug, but the bunting system is completely too easy. I even lowered the sliders for bunt contact and success to 0 and still haven't failed to lay down a sac bunt.

Because each bunt is so perfect, it takes an outstanding play by the pitcher or third baseman to get the out at first base, and they ALWAYS make the play.....

Fielding in general is just going to need a major overhaul.

I apologize if this has been mentioned, but ....

The mid-season amateur draft is a huge problem. Basically, teams will select their 10 draft picks and KEEP THEM on the MLB roster.

Seriously, I spent about 30 mins earlier today editing every roster and sending all draft picks to the minors.

Since the AI keeps all their draft picks on the big league club, they'll often demote proven guys, including All-Stars. No joke: Johan Santana, Jason Bay and David Wright were on SINGLE-A to make room for the draft picks.

The basket around the outfield wall above the ivy at Wrigley Field does not have any collision detection, so it's basically cosmetic. Please fix this 2k, Soriano should've had a homerun in one of my games today because the ball warped through the basket and into an outfielders glove.

One unifrom issue, at least with the Rangers; when they wear their red jerseys in the game the socks are blue. When in real life, they are red as shown below:



Not sure if any other teams have this problem. Let's let 2k know so they can fix it in a patch or roster update.

Another HUGE issue....

Sorry if it's been mentioned but in my Franchise I simulated a couple of games. The Cubs started Silva on Friday and he went 6.2 innings. On Saturday Lilly got the start and left after 2.2 innings. Guess who goes the next 5.1? YEP! Silva!

The more I play this game the uglier it gets...

Fatigue recovery is messed up for position players. If you give a guy a day off and then use him as a pinch hitter, he won't recover any energy. I just played a 3 game series vs the Reds, game one the rester Scott Rolen as his energy was at 68, but they used him to pinch hit. The next day he was still at 68 so they rested him again, and pinch hit him again and for my 3rd game of the series the same thing happened

Just look at the forum guys, littered with an unreal amount of bugs in the game. Instead of talking about gameplay, it's 95% about things that don't work, work-arounds, and make believe on how we can trick ourselves that this is anything like baseball. I long for the simplicity of Tony Larussa baseball haha. At least we didn't have all this ridiculous stuff and the need for multiple patches that don't fix the 60+ errors in the gameplay.

Pitcher records in the "MLB Today" screen are incorrect. Everyone has their correct win totals, but the losses are always 0. Somehow, everyone in the MLB last year was undefeated

I know I'm REALLY nitpicking on this one, but last night when in My Player, one of the mentor messages had "because" spelled "becuase."
