Thank god you figured this out.. I was getting so pissed... I would use the "rocket arm" of an outfielder and have somebody out by 5 steps and not be able to tag them... thanks

I've twice now had a runner on 2nd head back to 2nd then start heading for 3rd and get caught in a rundown after a wild pitch that didn't get away. I didn't tell them to do anything it was of the AI's doing.

For guys who are having problems with catchers or 3rd baseman not tagging runners on close plays...... We have to press RB (R1) to actually make the tag. Not in the 2K manual or in game instructions, but that's how it works.

Thought it was a fluke, but now it's happened 3 ****s in 2 games. Errant throws to the 3rd baseman are not chased after or backed up. They either roll into the dugout or sit near the dugout. Happened when I was batting and I, just to see if it would work, rounded all the bases for an inside the park HR. And happened to me fielding as well. Once it didn't go in the dugout and play just ended when the CPU didn't advance on it. And once went into the dugout and the CPU runners again didn't advance. Both ****s the play was just cut off after a few seconds when the runners didn't advance. Why no CPU fielders go after the ball is beyond me. Hopefully this is being addressed already.

So, I am wicked pissed right now. I spent the first week playing the game in my player mode. Had an amazing season going - my team just made the playoffs after a 1 game playoff to see who would win the division. But after that game...nothing happens next. The game won't start the playoffs...if I go to the calendar it's blank for the next several months until the off-season starts. If I try and simulate to the off-season, it just move the calendar ahead, but nothing happens. I can do this for years and years...but the game will not let me play or complete the season I had going. Basically, a weeks worth of time has been wasted. I don't know if it's my disc or what...like I said, totally pissed off, this is B.S.!

I'm having the EXACT same problem, really pissed off. I just want to play another season, dammit. I posted the problem in the My Player thread and noone answered me there either. Please, if someone has any ideas, help us out!

Anyone else getting a split second freeze right after the CPU pitcher releases the ball? I'm getting it at least once or twice a game now.

I've just started seeing this last night. Don't know how many times I've had it happen, but a few. Only when I am pitching too.

Don't know why he won't sign, but the Royals sign the same dude and send him to the minors every single day accoring to the transactions page. The Red Sox and Yankees have also tried to sign the guy, but he's still in the free agent market.

His name is Daryl Armstrong, and he's a pitcher. I just find it hilarious that I see the Royals signing the dude every single day, they're pretty damn persistent.

Is anyone else experiencing in-game freezing once you download a roster set from 2kshare?

I can't start a new franchise with user-generated roster sets via 2kshare. Once I start my first game, I freeze right before the announcers run down the away team's lineup.

Any suggestions?

I really, really hate how you cannot choose the opposing pitcher in the Play Now mode. It should be a no brainer to allow you to set, not only the pitcher, but the entire line-up of the opposing team.

And I'm really afraid it isn't something tat will be patched, along with the ridiculous inability to view your opponent's bench and bullpen. And the number of steps you have to go through to figure out which the upcoming batters are LH or Switch Hitters.

When you also consider the lack of ability to leave PH in the game, it kind of becomes clear that this is really not made by true baseball fans. These aren't things that people that love the game would miss.

I can't seem to get through the first four innings now without the game freezing and locking up the 360. I tried to play at least 10 times and the game always freezes during gameplay. I deleted all my old files and cleared my cache each time and it still freezes. What the hell?

I have had zero freezing issues. I have one of the newer Arcade units with the Jasper chipset, and the game is ripped to my 120 gig hard drive. I don't know what could be causing the freezes for others.

Yes, I'm having the same issue EVER SINCE I started using 2kshare rosters in my franchise. I can get past the opening lineups now, but I freeze once I get to the second inning or so.

I think it's a 2kshare glitch. I play my original franchise mode, which I started March 2, and it works fine.

I deleted my cache, too, and even burned the game onto my HDD, but nothing has worked.

Discovered a HUUUUUGE Glitch last night while playing MLB Today, opening day games.

Whenever a ball was hit into the left center gap, the center fielder will field the ball, and throw it back into the infield in the direction of second base. The entire CPU team stops moving, allowing the ball to sail over the 2nd basemans head, all the way to the backstop. No cpu player attempts to retrieve the ball, so it results in an automatic in the park homerun.

This happened to me 5-6 times in one game of Yankees/Sox MLB Today, and also happened in several play now games using the MLB Today rosters. Not sure what is causing this as I've never seen it before. Definitely a game killer though.

The same problem has been happening for a few days now. I don't know why 2K would release a patch or an update to their rosters without at least checking to make sure things work properly. I just about had enough of these issues so I traded in my 360 and purchased a PS3 w/ The Show 10. Not to get off topic, but that game is amazing.

I really enjoyed 2K10 and I think that it's really fun game, but what good is that when you can't even play a game because of constant freezing? Oh well... hopefully they'll eventually fix the problem.
