I loved the mlb 2k10 but when we play the all-star game we should have the actual uniforms from each players team. and we should have the pink gear for mother's day and the blue gear for father's day. Also what really disapointed me was that heyward and strasburg weren't there hopefully all of them and the upcoming and minor leaguers like mike minor and brandon beachy are there.

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
MLB Playoffs: I really would like to see a differernt environment when it comes to playoff baseball in Association mode. When playing playoff games in 2k10 it really doesn't feel any different, other then the Playoff graphics on the field. I would like to see some better animation when it comes to homeruns, RBI's, big hits and big strikeouts. I want to see the cut scenes to the dugouts or the crowd with players and fans really getting into the game/series. Also there needs to be better celebrations when it come to clinching games and ESPECIALLY the World Series...in 2k10 it's pretty boring.
Association: When editing players I believe all retired numbers for franchises should be off limits, for example I signed a free agent as the Yankees and they assigned him #5(DiMaggio's number), that shoudln't happen...keep it realistic.
-I also want to have the ability to retire numbers when marquee players retire for their respected franchise(ex- Jeter and Pujols).
-The All-Star game should also feature players in their team jersey's, not the generic All-Star jersey's they currently wear in 2k10.
-There should also be a way to remove season specific patches that teams wear, the Twins shouldn't still be wearing their "Target Field Inagural patch" in 2015.
-I don't know if this is possible but, I would like their to be a way to update rosters in Association mode. So if a player gets traded or injured it would reflect during the Association(well atleast the first year of the Association).
- This is another "Wishful Request"...I would like to see a Create-a-stadium feature in Association. If you are deep into your Association many teams in the league will be playing in "out-dated" stadiums, I would like the oportunity to create a new stadium for them by incorporating team revenue and fan support to get the approval. I think it would keep Association mode fresh by allowing this option. They could make it where you can design the type of stadium(open or retractable), field dimensions, seating arraingments, backgrounds, bullpen postitions and signage as well as concession pricing(if you wish).
These are just some ideas to help 2k11 make a HUGE leap from 2k10(a la NBA2k10 to NBA2k11).Comment

Make it an option or if you don't want # 5 just change it.

by depriving them numbers that go with the legends they create..

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
Perhaps it is because I am casual baseball fan, but I really enjoyed 2K10. First off, I am hoping there are no major overhauls with the game. It is on the right track. Just need some adjustments and enhancements.
With that being said:
- Need more errors.
- More HR's by the CPU. The CPU scored plenty on me with a zillion singles...but not many HRs.
- I like the hit variety, but one exceptions was a lack of infield popups.
- When pinch hitting for a pitcher, let the user also select the pitcher for the next inning. While it has no impact on the game, it is just weird to have the pinch hitter take the mound, and then replace him.
- In postseason games in Chicago, Philadelphia and New York, it sure didn't seem like October. Guys in short sleeves, and most games starting in daylight. C'mon 2K, it isn't the 1950's....most postseason games on the east coast should start at nigth time.
I would also like a custom tournament mode....where I could set up an 16 team minor league tournament.....although I am probably the only person who has any interest in this.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
Absolutely. That's the key for every sports game: options. The customization is critical, I hate how when I play my franchise I can't edit player faces or positions. Plus when a real life player is called up from the minors who doesn't exist on the game, I have to create him by finding another player with the same last name and trading for him. It's almost impossible to find a guy with the correct last name and position.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
When a player goes on the DL in real life the game should make it an option to place that player on the DL.

My player
I would like it for the wii so badly.
Franchise
I think you should be able to view the box score for previous games that have been played\simmed.
Be able to view previous seasons.

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
More peripherals. Goes with the retiring the jersey's. The celebration after winning the World Series could definately be better. Not sure if this is just "My Player" mode, but I know when I hit homeruns as a Whitesox player "U.S. Cellular Field" there are no fireworks or anything.
Also, when I beat the hitting streak, (and unfortunately ended at 112 games), there was no excitement from the announcers, just treated it as a common occurance, "Way to come in there and hit that single...." Shoulda been like "HOLY SMOKES! HE JUST BEAT THE RECORD!! *brain aneurysm* I mean something. There's just absolutely no excitement. Speaking of which, I don't think there was much announcing after the World Series was won either.
I don't know, add upgrades to the stadiums we can buy, let us adjust ticket prices.
Peripherals man.....it goes along way in making a game exciting.
Other than the other common things with play, my only complaint would be how easy it is to steal home plate. Yeah...won many a game with that trick. lol.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
I have the same problem with NBA 2K11 though, and that might be the best dynamic commentary available. Seriously, the depth is great but again it's the repetitiveness, especially the lengthy chats about the players. I'm only about 10 games into a season and I've heard the same things over and over during my Pistons games. The sad story of TMac, the ability of Rip and BG to play together, the fact that Stuckey is a combo guard, etc...
MLB 2k10 is very similar in that regard, especially during the first month, but seems to improve after that.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment
