Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
A few more suggestions from the pitching side of the house:
* Allow users to toggle off all onscreen indicators. Especially the ball / aiming cursor and assisting graphics. Hide the pitching controls (like in 2K8) and give us the ability to call them up with the LB button if we forgot how to throw a particular pitch, just as a reminder. This should also be one of the setup options when creating online matches! This will increase the number of walks per game!
* A great way to stop the opponent from 'quick pitching' with runners on base would be to INCLUDE BALKS! If the pitchers does not come to a complete stop for at least 1 sec from the set position, this should be ruled a balk.
* The fatigue for relief pitchers should happen alot quicker than starting pitchers. Long relievers should be allowed to go 3 inn. Middle relievers should go 2 inn. Setup men and closers should go 1 inn.
* You MUST have ejections in the game if a pitcher hits more than 2 batters in a game.
* Finally, if you want online to be played fairly, grey out starting pitchers that cannot be used during the game as relievers. Ungrey them if the game enters the 13th inning as they may be needed then.

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
Please improve baserunning AI for next year! Especially this:
There are 2 outs in the inning and I hit a flyball in the gap that might get caught. WHY, WHY, WHY are my baserunners STOPPING to see if the ball gets caught, or even RETREATING to the bag? THEY SHOULD BE ALL-OUT SPRINTING TO SCORE!

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
For me Id say;
-Improve animations
-beef up graphics, lets see 2k7 graphics with this same gamplay.
-Improve the hitting system like MVP
-Fielding NEEDS to be improved. Whats the fun in playing the field if you cant play the field.
IMO pitching is almost perfect, its still a bit too easy.
Looking forward to 2k11We play today, we win today, das it!-

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
Pitchers need to be in position a bit faster to back up a base/play. Perfect example, base hit, outfielder throws to the plate to try and get the runner scoring. THE PITCHERS IS STILL CROSSING THE FOUL LINE TO BACK UP THE PLAY AS THE RUNNER IS ABOUT TO SCORE. It also looks like they will collide.
Pitchers is TOO slow to get in position.
Also, some of these throws need to get away from the catcher if errors and injuries are going to be added to the game next year. I always thought that the throwing meter in 2K8 was the perfect meter since it accounted for strength of throw AND accuracy.

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
Give us the option to start a franchise mid-season. I'd like to be able to start a franchise on todays date with the same standings as MLB with everyone having their real life stats as of this point in the season.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
MLB 2K11 Wishlist
• Add errors to the game. It’s an integral part of baseball.
• Add injuries! Managing a roster over 162 games is much more interesting when you have to use your bench/minors more.
• Remove the auto fielding. It needs to be in the user hands more. There are a ton of great camera options for batting and pitching but only one lousy one for fielding. Please provide a more zoomed out camera like 2K9 and hopefully more than one option.
• Tone down the opposite field power. Most major leaguers pull their home runs outside of the really big hitters. Johnny Damon shouldn’t be hitting 400+ foot HRs consistently to left center.
• There is too big a difference between the contact and power swing. Contact swings don’t result in enough power.
• User pitchers need to be less accurate but most importantly, provide sliders to help adjust this.
• Fix the fatigue. The DH position should actually rest your player a little. Pinch hitters need fixing too. A guy coming off the bench for one at bat should still get some rest for the next game instead of getting tired. Furthermore, shortened seasons like 50 or 100 games need to have the fatigue formula changed to reflect that. A day off in a 50 game season should equal 1/3 a day off. Otherwise you can play the same players every day and use a two man rotation.
• Base running AI is bad. They delay too often. Futhermore, everyone needs to take off running in certain situations like 2 outs on 3-2 counts. I’d like an option for auto baserunning or at least auto stealing as I suck at stealing bases.
• Better hit variety. It improved post patch but not enough choppers or infield pop ups.
• Better cpu roster management. They take starting pitchers out too quickly in NL games and the first reliever they bring in a game is usually left in far too long. They also need to manage the bullpen better for lefty/righty matchups.
• The game would benefit tremendously from extra sliders. Sliders needed include Throwing Power and Accuracy for fielders, fielder reaction time, injuries and errors (outfield errors, booted ball errors, throwing errors), pitcher accuracy (patch improved this but still too easy to hit our spots), cpu batter aggressiveness (to help adjust how often they swing at pitches out of the zone), separate fatigue sliders for starting and relief pitchers, wild pitches/passed balls
• Please give us an option to remove the HR indicator. I don’t like how it automatically gives away whether a ball at the wall is a HR or will hit the wall. I want to remove that arrow.
• Give us easy access to more stats in the game (pitch counts, fatigue of bullpen)
• Give us the ability to save our camera angles. Just add this to the option menu. I think another great addition would be to have stadium specific default camera angles as well (http://kotaku.com/5518531/broadcast-...-2k10/gallery/)Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
I'm gonna cover "My Player" mode as it's what I have played the most of.
*I think we should be able to watch the game from the dugout or bullpen if we so choose.
*There def should be a "catcher mode". I played catcher in HS, and thought it would be a lot of fun, boy was I wrong. Playing as a catcher is the most boring thing in this game. Let me call pitches and location, and make defensive shifts. It also might be cool to have a "trust" skill, that makes the pitchers more likely to accept your calls, if you have a low "trust" attribute then the pitchers will shake you off more.
*Have CPU initiated trades, and positional swaps.
*More interaction with your teammates.
*Mound visits for a pitcher. Maybe with the catcher too.
*The ability to be injured would be cool. Maybe have a injury attribute.
*I saw that someone else had suggested having a pool of points instead of them being split up into hitting, fielding, ect. Great idea. But maybe we could have game points pooled, and drill points locked to a spesific area.
That's all for right now. I have more ideas but I don't want to make this any more of a book than it is.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
Progression has GOT to be fixed. It's ridiculous that I have a player be named Minor League Pitcher of the Year and then he regresses 3 or 4 points. That's happened to me several times. Very, very frustrating.
I also wish there was some way for you to lock in your line-up, and when you do an Auto-Fix for a player returning to your line-up or rotation from Disabled List, I want to CPU to retain the line-up that I locked in.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
It does, something that should hep is the infielders actually playing farther back where there supposed to. First baseman and third baseman play too close to the line and the bag. Balls that should go down the line dont becaused of this.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist
I popped in 2k9 for kicks and immediately hit a popfly behind homeplate that the catcher fielded. So, got me thinking about what needs to be in 2k11 . . .
Infield pops, popups behind home plate and in foul territory.
More catcher/pitcher interraction. Let the catcher go out and settle down the pitcher occasionally.
On popflys behind the plate, have the catcher settle under it, remove and toss his mask before making the catch.
Smooth out the pickoff attempts. in 2k9, they were normal speed. In 2K10, they're too fast with a bit of a stutter from time to time.
I want to be able to cut off a throw that I preloaded to a base from the outfield.
We need smoother animation transition. No more hiccups, stutters, etc between animations or during stoppages of play.
