I see PS3 owners being left out once again, when I see Ronnie write a patch was sent to MS this morning and not see any mention about PS3, that worries me.


I mean come on.

Two different systems.. Is it going to kill you to wait a week or two longer? Did it kill you when the demo came out for PS3 AFTER the release date?

There will be an additional patch in the near future. If you guys carefully read Ronnie's description, I think he made it perfectly clear that this first patch only has the most important fixes from our feedback and that they wanted to make sure they got this one out before opening day. All the additional, "less-important" fixes from our feedback will be further worked on and included in an additional patch down the road.

Did you read what He wrote there was no mention of a PS3 patch, don't preach the "Oh wait stuff", I was waiting for an NHL 2k10 patch for the PS3 that never came. Oh yeah and I paid for full price for that game while I watched the 360 users get a patch.

I hope you're right, but I'm not sure how you get all that from what Ron said in that paragraph. But again, I hope that's what happens.

This is great news that we are getting a patch soon! As long as pitcher fatigue, and fielding arm strength gets fixed I'm a happy man.

Not good. It's way too soon for them to have fixed everything. It's going to be like last year where they patch only part of the game and just shrug their shoulders at some of the issues.

Ronnie said in another thread on 2k that they wanted to get this patch out quickly to fix a few of the major issues. They can have 3 patches so they wanted to get one out before opening day, and then they will work on some of the other minor bugs/glitches.

I just hope that the check swing, pitcher fatigue, and the fielding arm strength is fixed in this patch. Hopefully.

I'm going to be optimistic (dangerous to do) and hope that they've been working on it since they released the final code.

Hope it fixes the stealing on both ends and gets rid of that stupid card/achievement block on custom sliders.

I don't mind the block. Pro difficulty is still easy as hell, and I imagine its only there so people to put it on Rookie or set the sliders so they're grossly in their favor. That's why the "Its a Virtue..." achievement is probably my favorite of the ones I've earned.

This game would honestly be a 9.5 if the following things were fixed:

Errors and injuries

Um, yeah, actually put them in the game as they are both pretty important aspects to baseball.

Pitcher stamina

Having My Player (SP) throw 152 pitches and go 12+ innings is not cool.

Fix the throw speed

Everyone knows about this one.

Fix the stat sim engine

It's broken.

I am sure there is more, but these are the big ones IMO. I'd also like to see some effort done in getting some of the presentation looking better (player portraits) but I know that won't happen.

This game is fun. Is it a good game? It's fun. But it could be great. 2K has a lot of work to do.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what fixes made it into this patch. Hopefully, we see the list by today or tomorrow.

One more thing... Tone done the CPU's catcher throwing perfect strikes down to second from their knees every single time you try and steal.

Some of this stuff really does baffle me... I try to not get frustrated as it is just a video game, but where is quality assurance? Some of these issues are just mind boggling.

Still hopeful.

NO PS3 as of now per Ronnie's Twitter.

"The patch for MLB 2K10 is 360 only atm. If I get word about the other consoles, will share."

I'm have it on 360 and the show on ps3 but was thinking 2K is weak for this. I had no idea they did not make on for nhl. Wonder why?
