You can definitely pull homeruns as a lefty. However, I would agree with many others that I hit a majority of my dingers to the opposite field. There are two reasons for this:

    1) We just have more time on the pitch to time it correctly and put a solid swing on outside pitches, thus hitting it the opposite way. It isn't like the last two years where you could pull a homerun that's a few inches off the outside of the plate.

    2) Pitchers, because of the accurate implementation of Inside Edge, work the outside of the plate most often, leaving you more opportunities to hit homeruns to the opposite field. I would venture to say that most of only hitting opposite field homeruns are swinging at the outside pitch. That's just physics.

I have a lefty My Player who has hit a few bombs in spring training to right. I also have been burned by Big Papi turning on a hanging slider and smacking it off the foul pole at Fenway. It just depends on the pitch location.

Went 3-3, 3hr w/ Griffey yesterday. It was so awesome because I was wondering when I was gonna figure out the hitting/timing. Because I struck out so much, the computer threw high and inside on fastball counts....I blasted everyone of them to right field, one of them went to the upper deck.
