      If you still have doubts AceTitan, look at this post by RGmoney;

Just tested this. Simmed to START of season. In my first game, the announcers & bottom of the stat overlay did say what we did in our last Spring Training game, BUT the actual stat categories were (.000, 0, 0, 0) etc....

League Leaders were all zeroed out as you would expect at the start of the season. As for the Hot/Cold screen. It did list what the players had done in their latest at-bats, but again... All stats were zeroed out at the top of the player card. (See screenshots).

Too me, it looks to be a non-issue as far as affecting Franchise stats. Also, in a franchise I started a few days ago, all players have the correct # of Franchise games played, and at-bats, etc... add up to just those games played in Franchise. Although in my 1st game, I do remember the announcers saying what I did in my last spring training game (also appeared in the bottom of the overlay).

      Everything seems fine.

Also a poster on 2K forums did this test for me and said with 5 different teams everything looked completely normal.

So; false alarm, everything seems fine.

        Thanks Kp

        Much appreciated!

Kp I also want to thank you for all the hardwork your doing. MLB2k10 is a very good and I enjoy it. Once the little bugs are addressed! This game will be amazing. But I still think this is amazing right now

          Re: FRANCHISE STATS BROKEN-PLEASE TEST!

So let me get this straight: There's no issue here?

I saw another post somewhere on this site that mentioned the season leaders screen adding the spring training stats as well after opening day. Someone also mentioned that they hit a homerun on opening day and it had a (6) next to it, meaning 6 total homeruns on the season. Are we going with the drugs/high hypothesis on those?

The example above is from the PC version with no patch, so of course there wouldn't be an issue there on that example. Just to clarify, are you guys trying this on the 360?

            Alright

            There No Issue here guys

The only it does when it starts the game is overlay each person in the lineup and what they did in there previous game. In which it is a spring training game. The stats do not carry over.

The thing is if you press start at the beginning of the game it has last years avearge at the begining but as soon as you have come to bat for the first time then it will display your days stats.

              Hi,

this is apparently the drunk and/or high guy!

I just got home and read through this thread and am happy to see people testing this out. I assure you it is happening, but wonder if I go with the poster on page one about simming to the day BEFORE the regular season versus the day of the regular season, it might make a difference.

I tried last night with three different teams, and did the same thing for each...simming to the first game of the regular season. Maybe that is the problem. Stand by.

                Re: FRANCHISE STATS BROKEN-PLEASE TEST!

Well, I guess I am high and/or drunk because tonight I tried duplicating the process exactly as I did last night and each time the stats did indeed reset to zero.

Something looked different this time though, the cactus league results went back to 0-0 throughout the division and it asked me if I wanted to start the regular season.

So whatever the heck happened it is not happening now, which is a good thing! Thanks everybody for testing this. Well, gotta go finish my vile of crack and then go play some baseball!

                thanks!
