Okay so i'm using some sliders by the guru of all sliders here so I deleted my one franchise and doing my REAL franchise.

I decided to skip through ST and ended up having Travis Snider out with a concussion so Corey Patterson is playing in his place. I played the first game against the Twins and boy was it ever a tight ballgame!

Ricky Romero had a shaky start allowing 2 runs in the 1st inning but he got through it and was pretty steady throughout. Liriano was just filthy striking me out 8 times and just like the real life Blue Jays it was HR or bust as I tied the game up with 2 HRs.

Now for the cool part of this game: Top of the 8th Romero has thrown over 80 pitches and I thought i'd let him pitch until there's a base runner. I'd already gotten Octavio Dotel up and throwing in the pen since the Bot. of the 7th so he was ready. Anyways, Kruk mentions that Romero has thrown over 80 pitches and says something like "you have to wonder how long the manager is gonna keep him in the game". I was facing Jim Thome and literally 2 pitches after Kruk made his comment Thome hit a mammoth shot to CF to put the Twins ahead 3-2. I then replace Romero with Dotel and get out of the inning.

With JP Arencibia up to bat in the bottom half of the inning and already 1 out I go and pinch hit Scott Podsednik who was lucky as hell to get a single. Rajai Davis comes up and is now facing Matt Capps and promptly hits a HR to put the Jays on top and it stands up as the GW!

Whatta game!

Do your pitchers fatigue?

No, no one in the whole team fatigues if you play the game, friggin ridiculous!

Has anyone lowered the in jury frequency from the default 50? I seem to get an injury every single game for about 2 weeks at a time. I like the injuries, but I shouldn't be penalized for every single dive I attempt with my second baseman. I did a diving catch with Fukudome, and he slid head first into the wall and was fine. If anything, he should've had a concussion, or a should injury, but nope.

well i'm getting ready to start spring training for my cleveland indians. i decided to make some moves before the season, and i acquired ryan howard, brandon phillips and adam jones to re-invigorate the offense, plus i acquired cc sabathia and francisco liriano to put alongside fausto carmona to bolster the starting rotation. other than those guys plus grady, asdrubal cabrera and carlos santana, this team is pretty bare now, but the main rotation is as good as it gets.

getting started tomorrow or sunday, maybe a couple more moves in store before the start of the season

Randy Wells came off the DL, and now it says he is on the MLB roster, but he cannot be found on the pitching rotation page. Help? Are injured players who heal becoming disappeared?

I moved it down to about 30-35. I like injuries on occasion, but people here were saying they happened ALL THE TIME. I'm 6 games in and have yet to have one on my team. But now that I told you that, I'll have about 7 when I play tonight.

I just started a franchise with the Brew Crew and in my first ST game I lost Casey McGehee for 77 days with an injury. While this is a blow, I'm still really excited to see how my team plays together. I'm hoping to add another arm in addition to Grienke and Yovani!

Started a Mets franchise. Played on pro default, but Im hoping to find a slider set before my next game. Any way it was Johan vs Johnson. Santana allowed 2 runs in the first due to 2 errors. I loaded them with 1 out in the 1st, but didn't score. Santana settled down and went 6 and allowed 2 runs(got out of a bases loaded 0 outs jam in the 4th or 5th.) I got my hits here and there, but didn't score. Top of the 7th, Thole singles and Murphy doubles to set me up to begin the inning. Luis Hernandez hit a bloop single, but I thought it would be caught so I went back to tag, but it fell and i couldnt score. Top of the 8th Beltran doubles and Ike doubles him in to make it 2-1. Ike got hurt sliding into 2. I try to bring in Hu to run, but instead my baserunner disappears and Hu is hitting for thole and he strikes out. Carrasco allowed a 2 run double in the bottom of the 8th and I lost 4-1

I've had the exact same problem with 2 of my players in franchise. They come off the dl, do a rehab stint then never return to the lineup/rotation. Is this a glitch or is there something I'm missing? Thanks.

I think the only fix for this might be to start a new franchise with injuries turned off.

I've had the exact same problem with 2 of my players in franchise. They come off the dl, do a rehab stint then never return to the lineup/rotation. Is this a glitch or is there something I'm missing? Thanks.

I've had this happen once and I hit the button that has the CPU set optimal lineups and they player showed up again.

Hi guys.

I play on PC, Franchise mode, Legend Sliders, Phillies. Haven't played many games though.

The problem is that all my fielders have identical trowing meters, and the dark green is minimal. I mean all the players, infielder, outfielders. Even J Rollins and S Victorino have minimal dark green on the meter.

Any of these happened to you? Is it a bug? Is it from the sliders?

I've had this happen once and I hit the button that has the CPU set optimal lineups and they player showed up again.

Thanks, I accidentally did this and got Brett Cecil to show up (after disappearing for 3 months). Has anyone had the CPU optimize lineups without asking it to do this?

what kind of talent did you have to give up to get those guys???

Picked up the game yesterday going to start my franchise up tonight with the Orioles. Not sure about what trades I'm going to make but pitching is probably the first area I'll look at and maybe firstbase. I only hope that trades are more realistic then last years. Last I was able to trade Ty Wigginton for Roy haliladay that's just crazy. So I'm hoping that's fixed this year.
