Played a Day game at Wrigley as the visiting Cardinals and noticed that the shadows that crept in were way too dark. I understand that it should be difficult to pick up the ball as it goes in and out of shadows, but it is impossible to even see the ball when it is in the shadows. At the end of the game the shadow had completely covered the distance between the mound and home plate and I could not see the trajectory of the ball at all. Maybe my brightness settings are screwed up, but the rest of the lighting looks fantastic. I just think that maybe the shadows should reflect what it looks like on earth and not the moon. So far I have only noticed this happening at Wrigley Field and nowhere else.

Same here. Played my brother in law at Wrigley in a day game. Shadows were cool but from the 2nd to 4th inning we only threw fastballs in the middle because we couldn't see the ball.

Not that is was tough to see. We COULDN'T see it at all.

Hey all,

All the Plays of the Game are ONLY seen by the outfield camera following the batter when he gets a hit. So all you see is him running from home to the bases. Regardless of whether the play is actually in the field.

Played a game at Wrigley Field set for afternoon and around innings 2-3 to 4-5 couldn't see ball. Night games are fine, but afternoon games because of shadows affect pitch delivery to user batting. This needs to be fixed!

Using Classic pitching Pinpoint and hitting Max does not reach maximum speed listed for pitcher. There is a 1-2 mph penalty for User with Classic pitching, which is not fair because CPU pitchers will reach their max.

Just had a pitcher get hurt and lay on the mound while another pitcher finished the inning.

Next inning comes and he is STILL on the mound.

EDIT: He stayed there the whole game. SMH

I don't have an account to post with over at the 2K forums where they are compiling the "official" list of bugs/glitches to submit. Could somebody please either let the Kevdood guy know about this, or maybe post this in their bug/glitch thread so that it can be noticed by the developers? I posted this in both threads on here, but I haven't seen it put into their list for submission. It is super annoying and makes playing the game almost impossible at Wrigley.

i dont know if this was mentioned, but i was playing the postseason mode and the first two games were ok. But in the 3rd and deciding game, it ended after the bottom of the 8th! I was up 6-4 and Heyward flew out and it just ended. In the box score, it just shows a dash mark next to both teams in the 9th inning.

i was playing the pirates vs giants, i picked the runner off of second base the umpire called him safe but he was really out, so i checked the men on base the dot was gone from second base although the umpire called him safe...a blown call i guess lol lol.....another small glitch players walk up to the plate with shades on, but when they step into the batters box the shades disappear no shades .....they still have to fix that home run bug also,where the player robbed me from a home run but it counted as a out and a home run has to be fixed 2k............

I have been noticing really bad anti-aliasing on the PS3 version, and I am not just talking about shadows, that I can live with, but distant lines like walls or base paths look terrible. They almost look like the go straight for an inch and then start a new line every inch or so.

Besides this though, I still like the game a lot.

My Player mode won't start for me. I try t start one it has its opening cinematic and just sits there for ages saying 'initializing my player......' with a black screen. Xbox isn't frozen. Anyone else having this issue ? I'm on XBOX if that helps.

Any help is much appreciated.

In my opening day pitt franchise game the boxscore did not reflect any middle relievers stats and it ended up being an 11 inning game. When the game was over I could not view the boxscore from the "Daily View" option.

Has this happened to anyone else?

does the custom music in this game work? I have custom music in for batter intro and when a batter is retired and the music plays throughout at bats and keeps playing even when i pause the game.

Also, I noticed that although some players have real faces in the edit player menu, they don't in an actual game. For example, Kyle Drabek of the Toronto Bluejays appears as some generic, bald, white guy in the game although he has a unique face in the edit player menu. I remember this same problem occuring in last years game. wth?!

LMAO! Did you try to skip the injury animation? If you let it play out to the substitution screen, you will not have this problem
