While playing with the Cubs, the commentators say "south siders" this was a problem in last year's game too.

Yep, been playing hurry up without a crash either. Kind of sucks, but I think I usually end up playing this route every season the longer I play the game. Weird thing was, I played a number of MLB Today games on realism and not one crash. So, I don' know.

It does suck but I would rather the game not crash on me so I gotta do what I gotta do. Lol. Here is hoping for a major patch close to opening day.

Yes, this had happened to me in 3 games. But only happens when a runner is running toward home plate and the other one to third. The cutoff man just stays still and then throws after the players are in or no throw at all.

This happened to me too, I had to replace the best batter of the team for a pitch hitter and that fixed the problem. Nice trick...

First time owning a 2k baseball game since 2k7, but just wanted to know if what I am experiencing is usual.

1.When starting a pitch, sometimes the meter takes a lagging start after initiating the pitch.

2.Marlins home games seem to be slightly stuttering.

3.Started a game up and noticed my pitching camera angle was set differently without me even messing with it.

Love the game so far, but am a little bothered by these issues. By the way I have the game for PS3.

As some of the people here mentioned, CPU leaves their relief pitcher late in close games.

game stutters/hitches on specific ballpark (Petco Park, Minute Maid Park, so far)

                  1. Not a glitch, but something a lot of people have been getting confused by. Before making the pitch gesture, wait for the animation of the pitcher (going into the set motion) to finish. Some pitchers have longer animations and the same pitcher can have a longer animation if he's no longer pitching from the stretch (runners are on base).

                  2. I think you're describing a problem everyone has. When you're batting and make contact, right? Technically it's not a glitch and it's a framerate issue, though of course we'd all love to see it fixed.

                  3. Pitching camera angles are stadium specific. It's done to give each stadium it's own "feel" and make road games more noticeable. Not a glitch.

My first basemen fielded the ball with pitcher running to first to cover but he kept on running! While I did not throw right away, had time to throw and would have got him if my pitcher stayed on First base. Now maybe this could happen in real baseball, but on the other hand, the pitcher could have stayed on first to catch the ball.

Played a Day game at Wrigley as the visiting Cardinals and noticed that the shadows that crept in were way too dark. I understand that it should be difficult to pick up the ball as it goes in and out of shadows, but it is impossible to even see the ball when it is in the shadows. At the end of the game the shadow had completely covered the distance between the mound and home plate and I could not see the trajectory of the ball at all. Maybe my brightness settings are screwed up, but the rest of the lighting looks fantastic. I just think that maybe the shadows should reflect what it looks like on earth and not the moon. So far I have only noticed this happening at Wrigley Field and nowhere else.

This may have been mentioned but one I've had quite a few times now is I'll hit what appears to be a homer, the opposing OF will climb the wall and catch it and simultaneously I'll receive a home run and an out. Legitimately it will count as a homer in the box score and in the players stats, but also records as an out.

Just had a pitcher get hurt and lay on the mound while another pitcher finished the inning.

Next inning comes and he is STILL on the mound.

EDIT: He stayed there the whole game. SMH

I haven't seen this on the board anywhere yet, and I just registered so I could post this, so please someone respond if you have seen this.

This has happened to me twice. Starlin Castro and Jacoby Ellsbury both were injured sliding into second base, which I thought was cool to see because it happens a lot.

So the computer prompts me to replace them with a substitute. I pick a player off of the list to replace them on base. Once I click on a player, that player instead of going to the base where they should be, they are put up to bat as if I had put them in to pinch hit. The guy that should have been up then gets skipped after the sub bats for that person.

It is so stupid and annoying it isn't even funny. Maybe I clicked on something wrong, but it wouldn't let me back out of the screen so I had to pick someone.

Has anyone else had this issue?
