Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
Don't know if anyone has mentioned this but there is a problem in franchise with players being permanently stuck on a rehab stint. The issue im seeing is that once you select manage organization when the game notifies you that a player is coming off the DL and is entering a rehab stint the player never becomes available on the lineup or pitching rotation screen and when you try to send the player down to the minors it says the player cannot be moved as he is currently on a rehab stint. Of course you can have the CPU create ideal lineups and pitching rotations for you (which is absolutely horrible I might add) and this will make the player available however he will have lower ratings from when he was injured because he never completes his rehab stint. The only way around this that I have found is to select auto-manage roster when a player comes off the DL but it totally ****s up your entire lineup and pitching rotation including that of your minor league team.Comment

They do come back, but after the regular season starts. That's the bug, that they don't rehab in the off season or Spring Training.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
I had the homerun glitch happen today with two outs. Casey Blake hit his first knocker of the season, the Rockies outfielder catches it over the fence and gets credited with the out. 3 outs, end of inning... and the runs all count. After watching the replay, the fielder definitely made the play and it should have been 3 outs no more runs. Thankfully in 20 games or so, this is the first time it's happened to me.Comment

Have anyone seen the forcefield when the ball is automatically sucked into the met of players when it should have passed the glove. They really need to patch this, because it robs the outcome of the play if the game is cheating like that...please fix this 2k!!!!Comment

PC game, foul popup, catcher and first baseman jogging over to make the play when the pitcher comes out of nowhere to make a staggering catch. I have seen this twice and although the end result is ok (an out) it is very silly looking.Pitchers and Catchers Report; Life Worth Living AgainComment

Freddy Garcia started last game against me. He's on the schedule to start the next game against me too.
I'm not complaining, just pointing it out.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
This one is really disappointing... Was playing the playoff game mode and I got to game 5 of the NLCS and realized that the format is screwed up. I was the Cardinals and had just won game 4 in St. Louis only to go back to Philadelphia for game 5. I have no idea if it will shift back to St. Louis for game 6 (similar to the NHL format for 7 game playoff series) because I didn't actually play game 5.
To Clarify. I made the Cardinals the wild card team and got to the NLCS vs. the Phillies. They (the Phils) had home field advantage and we played games 1 and 2 in Philly then played games 3 and 4 in St. Louis only to go back to Philly for game 5. Could somebody please verify that this isn't some weird option for the playoffs that I accidentally switched?
Do these guys make any effort to test this out? Also, who in their right mind programmed the playoff format wrong? Has that person ever watched the playoffs before? I'll also post this in the other bug/glitch thread as well.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
Has anyone seen issues w/ their player's "Recent Games"?
I've noticed that for my USER controlled team only in my franchise, that my Player Cards are all out of whack. The games I've played repeat themselves. Here's an example of how it looks:
4/6:
4/5:
4/3:
4/1:
4/6:
4/5:
4/3:
4/1:
The stats would be listed next to the days are correct, but the list of games repeat, and in some cases are even more out of whack then how you see it here. Guess I will take a picture, and send it to my email for uploading.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
Anyone else seeing the cpu bring in a position player to pitch? I have had it happen in two of my last three franchise games.I was super simming the games, i was only hitting so not sure if that could cause it or not, can't remember them doing it when playing the game out normally. Xavier Nady and Seth Smith were the culprits, i switched sides and brought in relievers.
PS: I'm sure it only happens when you super sim the games. The problem lies in the fact that the cpu brings in the player to pitch just like it does for human players but we then swap the player for a pitcher but obviously the cpu isn't doing this.Last edited by tvman; 03-21-2011, 12:06 AM.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
Ok, So I should of taken a video of this last time it happened to me but I didn't. I got a second chance and didn't waste it this time...another injured pitcher laying on the ground.
NOTE: Last time, the pitcher was actually on the mound but this time he is on the grass. But....this time there is a opposing player in the batters box? For whatever weird reason
