Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
I'm in my second season with my player and I am a pitcher. Every time there is a ball hit to the first baseman my player locks up and I cannot run to cover first to make the play. This results in a hit most of the time becuase the infielder is not able to run to first to step on the base in time to get the runner out. This only happens with hits to first base every other time I am able to move the pitcherComment

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
Saw a strange one last night. CPU batting with runner on first base. Batter lays a bunt down the first base line. My catcher picks it up and tags the batter out as he starts for first base. At this point, the runner on first, who was halfway to second base, turns around and heads back to first base. I throw to first base for an easy DP. Guess the CPU wants to head to the previous base if it's no longer a force-out situation.Comment

During the signature highlights at the end of the game in my first game I clicked Adrian Gonzalez and the highlight was of Kevin Youkilis making a diving play at 3B. It cut off before he even threw to Gonzalez over at first, but clearly this signature highlight should have been for Youkilis as he did not have one.
Really very minor bug.Goozex

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
I've noticed the CPU bringing in pitchers to positions in the middle or late in the game. Last night, Joe Girardi brough in AJ Burnett to play LF
Sometimes the CPU recognizes it and will make the switch an inning later, sometimes not.Comment

Top of the 9th. Brewers vs Pirates and I come up with Prince and hit a double. He strains his quad and I bring Gomez in to pinch run. Instead of being on second base, Gomez is batting in place of McGehee with a 1-0 count and no outs (the count to Prince when he hit the double). He strikes out and Gamel is up with 1 out.
How the hell does this game get on shelves with this many bugs? Does anyone test it?Well now, everything dies, baby that's a fact. But maybe everything that dies, someday comes back. - The BossComment

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
My apologies if this has already been talked about, but anyone else had a home run get called an out on the screen, yet the player was credited with a home run?
Happened with Ike Davis, he hit a fly down to opposite field and the with the camera angle from home plate, you see the LF jump and it reads "out", but then you see Ike rounding the bases with the home run graphic.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
Don't know if anyone has mentioned this but there is a problem in franchise with players being permanently stuck on a rehab stint. The issue im seeing is that once you select manage organization when the game notifies you that a player is coming off the DL and is entering a rehab stint the player never becomes available on the lineup or pitching rotation screen and when you try to send the player down to the minors it says the player cannot be moved as he is currently on a rehab stint. Of course you can have the CPU create ideal lineups and pitching rotations for you (which is absolutely horrible I might add) and this will make the player available however he will have lower ratings from when he was injured because he never completes his rehab stint. The only way around this that I have found is to select auto-manage roster when a player comes off the DL but it totally ****s up your entire lineup and pitching rotation including that of your minor league team.
I'm having the same issue. I tried to follow the trail and see no answer so I apologize if someone has addressed this. It seems you have to release the player, re-sign him then demote him to the minors and set the "manage injuries" mode "on" and perhaps the player will recover.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
I am having issues with this. My pitchers come back from the disabled list and they get put on the the rehab stint. They do not show up in my pitching rotation lineup, so I cant start them, but after I start a game, they are available for relief pitching. Not all the pitchers are going this way, some come back and I can start them.
Another glitch I have had, is I have a guy playing the outfield go back to the warning track and climb the wall and make the catch but the play gets called a homerun when the ball was clearly caught.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Discussion Thread
I am like many of you, I cant believe how this game made it to the shelves. Has anyone had this glitch happen. This actually happened many times. I was in franchise mode, and I was the Tigers. Either right from the beginning of the game or in the middle of it, the uniforms change to the team I am playing against. For example I am playing the Twins, and all my tigers players are wearing the Twins uniforms, and the Twins are all wearing the Tigers uniforms. Not only that the stadium was changed too. I think once I was playing the As, and the A's had tigers uniforms on and I had san francisco giants uniforms on and we were playing in giants stadium. lol. Its really distracting.Comment
