Yes I think it would be cool if they had two or three different sets of commentators and commentaries and rotated them every game. That would definitely keep it fresh.

But commentary is one of the strengths of this game like I said and I can't see anything being done for the next few years... If Take Two renews their contract with MLB that is.

yeah ill be happy still with the commentary if they leave it how it is

I want pitcher fatigue and as few bugs as possible. The rest of the game is solid.

Something I just thought of while playing 2K9...

In reality, just because the ball beats the runner to the bag doesn't mean he is definitely out. But it is like this in the games. So, while it might be too late to ask, I would like to see runners on steal attempts, rundowns, etc. not be called out just because the ball beat them to the bag. It would be very cool if runners could occasionally slide under a tag, go around it with a trick slide, or even if the umpires just blew some calls on tags.

Anyone else agree? Thoughts?

Something minor I'd like to see is arbitration in the off-season, as well as prospects becoming Super 2 status. It'd make you consider when to call up prospects a little harder, as you'd be deciding to have them go through arb 3 times or 4 times. Maybe just more off-season attention as well, like the Rule 5 draft and stuff.

Way better graphics and a ton of new infield and outfield defensive animations. That's one of the reasons why this game gets a bit repetitive sometimes.

i wish that new roster downloads would only update player ratings and not reset the rosters settings for my player appearances and swing + motion changes ive made. its like every update means i have to re-do every damn player change

I have a bunch..
1. Make the rosters have #'s instead of bars. To be like every other sports game (Madden, NBA 2K), give the players a number for their overall. (Ex: Derek Jeter is a 85 overall) the bars are just annoying.
2. Give all the players inculding the non created ones (Ex: Alex Rodriguez) a hat that is digital so that if they change a team we wont have to see the logo of the team that they used to be on.It would now be the team he is on. This is huge in franchise. I am tired of having my team look so weird with a bunch of logos of the rest of league.
3. Improve franchise in general. NBA 2k12 has a great Association. Madden 12 and MLB 2011 have a ok one. Major improvements would be to improve the A.I. teams and their trading strategy. I hate seeing Albert Pujolis traded to every team in the league in the span of 3 years. Its not realistic.
4. Improve presentation. It could be much better look at NBA 2k12 for an example.
5. Make the world series mean something. The Trophy ceremony plus a ring ceremony should be a must. Also make it mean something by winning it have the commentators say stuff like "And the reigning champion NY Yankees"
6. Have to have create a team and create a stadium. Also have relocation. Contraction and expansion would be cool as well.
7. Look at NBA 2k12 and try to make this game better. It will be hard but NBA 2k12 really puts the benchmark at how a good game improves to a great game. MLB the show has been slacking a bit. The game didnt improve a ton from 2010 to 11 and it should be due for a huge bump up in 12.

I don't expect any improvements.

Still can't figure why they never decided to let the branch that made The Bigs make this game. The Bigs was so much better graphically and actually things like the dimension of the field better. The way the Bigs looks and how it brings you into the game just makes you want to play the game.

That's my suggestion. If you want to stay in the business give the keys over to that office or bring some of those guys over to you considering they have not made the Bigs in a couple of years. Makes no sense to me

Make The B Button The Power Swing Button And A Button Contact Swing And X To Bunt That Would Be Nice Because It'd Be Easier Hitting Homers With The B Button Just Like In Major League Baseball 2K4 And MLB Slugfest Loaded
