I know the fatigue glitch is keeping a lot of people from franchise mode right now, but I've been thinking about a trade and I didn't see this thread in the 2k forum so I thought I'd give it a shot.

TEX trades: Michael Young, Mitch Moreland and Julio Borbon

StL trade: Albert Pujols

I know what you're thinking. However, if the Cards can't come to a contract with Pujols they might as well trade him. I would immediately give him a contract in the 10 year, $250 million range. This trade gives the Cardinals guy who can play 3 positions in the infield in Michael Young, and two young major leaguers in Moreland and Borbon. Moreland can replace Pujols at 1st or play in the outfield, and Borbon is a nice young center fielder who can hit for average and steal a ton of bases.

I would also be willing to offer Chris Davis/Elvis Andrus instead of Borbon/Moreland.

I wouldn't give up Elvis. not a terrible trade though. Trading is too easy.

I traded Homer Bailey, Arredondo, Dontrelle Willis for Joakim Soria.

Then I traded Renteria and two mid sixties rated prospects for Andrus. He platoons with the defensive Janish.

Then my final move, Hernandez, Valaika and another prospect for Carlos Santana.
