I will work on my power swing I guess. It just seems like everytime I make contact with a power swing the ball pops up or hacks foul behind the plate. I suppose hitting homeruns isn't supposed to be easy anyhow.

This was happening to me too. I can't confirm this, but I swear it was because I wasn't pressing straight up on the stick--I was pushing it off center left or right and the game was registering it as a defensive swing. This was with the stick already being held down for power swing.

Again, I can't confirm it, but you should make sure you're pressing straight up on the stick. If you're off-center, I think it registers as a defensive swing. Something to check for anyway.

Thanks for the input. I just wanted to make sure that homeruns weren't a problem this year! Oh, and good luck to your Reds this year, it looks like the NL Central will come down to your boys and the Brew Crew.

Dont underestimate the Cards, I am alot more afraid of them then the Brewers this year.
