My injury sliders are set as default and I only have a few players go down through the year with significant injuries. Now I should note that I am doing the "play one, sim 5, play one, etc." I've been getting pretty realistic injury, stat, and win totals for my franchise (with adjusted sliders, of course). Yes the fatigue bug is there, but it doesn't bother me that much (although I would LOVE to have it fixed with a patch).

Keep in mind that most injuries are ones that can be played through, albeit at a reduced ability level. Again, very realistic to what actualy MLB players have to go through during a season.
I'm not seeing this. When playing every injury but one has required a stint on the DL with two major injuries. I'd love to see more minor injuries that could be played through.

Furthermore, this problem has to do with actually playing the game. How many games have you actually played in your franchise (not simmed)? At default I bet you would see an injury almost every game. I've got my slider at 1/100 and I still see quite a bit of injuries although it does seem OK at 1. I still think it could be high, especially when I had 5 of the 20 guys on the DL in the majors at the time. Two other injuries disappeared after in game saves because any in game save wipes out in game injuries when you return to the game.

Well, for example, Vlad Guerrero has a sprained wrist (suffered in a sim game), and I have kept him in the lineup. It's about an 8-10 day injury, so I'm just having him play through it. I do have some injuries that are forcing players to be put on the DL (as far as I can tell, they don't even give the option), but not nearly one a game. In fact, I've played about 5 games in a row without an injury until this morning, when my SP went down with a strained shoulder (day-to-day) after 80 pitches.

I've played 19 games this season (I'll end up playing 27 every season by the play one, sim five routine) and haven't had nearly the injury problems you guys have had. Keep in mind though, it's the "issues" you have are probably pretty realistic. Take my real life Cards for example:

Augenstien and Tallet (RPs) are on the DL. Pujols is day to day with a hamstring (probably out for the weekend). Holliday was down for two weeks with an appendectomy. Wainright is out for the year already with Tommy John surgery. Allen Craig is on the 15 day DL. Skip Schumacher is on the 15 day DL. That's in the first month.

You guys just aren't used to realistic injury amounts in a game, that's all.

You're not seeing the amount of injuries other people are seeing because you sim 5/6ths of your season. Try reading the comments in the thread about simming versus playing games before passing judgment, geez.

But even the games I play I don't experience the injury amounts you guys are seeing.

Still my point above still stands, they are pretty realistc.

Anyone else noticing something similar to this? I have started three consecutive games with Dillon Gee and he has left all three games after exactly 5.1 innings.

yeah i've turned down my injuries to 2.

i can deal with the minor injuries, or even 1-20 day injuries which require a DL stint...but it's utterly RIDICULOUS when i have the injury slider set under 10 (previously had it around 8 or so) and every 3rd or 4th game i'd get a 2-4 month injury or some nonsense. please. teams don't deal with that many 80 game injuries...some of the mistakes with this game truly boggle the mind. how can they get some aspects so dead on and above and beyond, and some simple things (fatigue thing, mid-game crashes, etc etc) they completely sh*t the bed! like some others have said, they must not have even played a couple weeks of a franchise before deeming the game ready; kind of a joke.
