Re: Another New Bug
The DL days did go down everyday pre-patch... The injury on the right didn't. Let's say a player is hurt for 15 days and you put him on the 15 day DL pre-patch. You would need to put him on the 15 day DL again after 15 days. It's not 15+ DL. It's 15 days...Comment

Re: Another New Bug
Mike Fontenot - Strained Bicep (minor injury) 3+
Aubrey Huff - Arm Stiffness (minor injury) 3+
Andres Torres - Dislocated Shoulder (15-day DL) 10+ 14DL
Mike Roberson - Bruised Heel (minor injury) 1+
Freddy Sanchez - Fractured Ankle (15-day DL) 28+ 28DL
Added:
Pablo Sandoval - Sprained Wrist (minor injury) 6+
P. Sandoval - 5+, no DL (1 day decrease)
A. Huff - 2+, no DL (1 day decrease)
M. Fontenot - 3+, no DL (no decrease)
A. Torres - 10+, 14 DL (no decrease)
F. Sanchez - 28+, 28 DL (no decrease)
Added:
T. Castillo (A) - 22+, 22 DL
Removed:
M. Roberson - Minor Injury / Non DL
None of my DL guys decreased. All but one of my minor injury guys decreased a day.
I concede. I will continue to monitor my injuries as I play, and report any changes, but I am joining the side that this is a bug, not some kind of "estimated time of recovery".
2k Forums are asking for acknowledgement from 2k on this. That would make me very happy, just to know that they know that this is an issue and will be addressed. While this on it's own probably isn't enough to keep me from buying 2k games in the future, I can certainly understand people's frustrations, especially if this is a common trend.Comment

Re: Another New Bug
I don't know what could be effing this up for you guys.
Maybe it's in the fact that I don't sim, but I do use the "Sim to date" option.
After I play a game, I go into the schedule, highlight my next day's game, and hit the "sim to date" option.
This brings all of the stats current, changes the headlines, etc... So maybe I'm playing the games, and it's recognizing at least a partial sim (since I'm simming all of the other team's games). Maybe that's why it's working for me, I don't know.
I'm at work for the next 10 hours, so if anyone wants to check that out. Let me know what happens.Comment

Re: Another New Bug
This is a weird bug. I'll have to test it. I can say I think I did notice it last night but wasn't aware of it at the time.
I dove for a ball with Alex Gonzalez and he went down with a dislocated shoulder for 10+ days. I decided to DL him. I'm only playing 1 out of every 6 games, but it did seem like the games I played it didn't reduce the duration on the DL stint. I remember checking to see when he was going to come off the DL and it said he had 4 days left on the DL and 0 days on his injury which makes sense for a 10 day injury and 15 day DL stint. Simmed the next few games and he came off the DL no issues.
I just had Freddie Freeman go down for some kind of injury that was around 10 days and I decided to DL him also. I will test this bug with Freddie Freeman's injury.
It's probably not game breaking for me personally because I only play 1 out of every 6 games, however, I can see why it would be awful for those who play a higher percentage of games.
Game is playing so well right now...such a shame another major bug had to come with this patch.GamerTag: Blazzen85

Re: Another New Bug
I just registered at OS to express my frustration-
Pre-patch I played a few spring training games to get a feel for the game and find sliders that worked (Holy Grail).
Post-patch: I've started 2 Franch's - I lost Matt Holliday during ST in the first, and Yadi Molina during ST in the second. I played and simmed both well passed the due date, and neither ever progressed.
Ruins the game for me.Comment

Re: Another New Bug
Here's another monkey wrench thrown into the whole thing.
My 15 day DL minor leaguer (A) went down a day, while my 2 MLB guys, Sanchez and Torres, once again stayed the same.Comment

Re: Another New Bug
If it is working for some people that injury is going down, but not DL time, then there's a clear workaround - send guys to Single-A instead of Dl'ing them.Comment

Re: Another New Bug
Good call, it just sucks to have to leave spots open on your A team just in case a player gets hurt. But this could very well work.WE ARE PENN STATE

Re: Another New Bug
Sounds like it to me. Besides, there is no such thing as a 28 day DL list. A player goes on the 15 day DL or he goes on the 60 day DL. I don't know how a player can get hurt and the DL be anything other than 15 or 60 to start with. Is that what is happening with some players or did I read this wrong?Comment

Yes, there is...
You're not going to put a guy who's going to be out for 1 month on the 60 day DL. IRL you place him on the 15, and you re-place him on the 15 when that time is up.Comment
